As a fun note to why I guessed about the reason was because of the laughing book in the Doctors quarters. I connected the idea of the book having meaning to the COTD and Ascension radios. Yuri got his hands on the journal in the radios in Ascension. IN COTD we learned that Richtofen wasn't even stationed in Shi no numa, which begs the question why did he go there? The Shi no numa cut scene showed our three heroes arriving at the map which I connected back to the test subject radios in COTD. Richtofen had them come extract him after he set his plan in motion after the fallout from Moon. So to be fair I filled in a lot of blanks, but it all came from in game evidence which I have harped about for years. Thanks for the shout out John and great video!

Back before the timeline came out, my theory was that right after Samantha entered the Aether and Maxis tells her to destroy the remains of Group 935, Richtofen escaped Der Reise with the test subjects. Richtofen would explain to them that he needed more 115 in order to generate the teleporter. All the 115 that he had back at the Der Reise facility had already been consumed by zombies there. So they go to Nacht Der Untoten, and find 115 there that's also already been consumed. They then go to Verrückt, and the same results. They finally go to Shi No Numa, and find the giant meteor of 115, and take a portion of it. They then go back to Der Reise to generate the teleporter

Nickson Cancel Richthofen says in a quote on Origins that explains there existence. I believe the quote was "Yes the robots...They were meant to make sure nothing left or entered the sites."

Bryant Alanis I thought in zombies chronicles before it was fully revealed, that we would get mob remastered with the primus/origins crew and one of them would be calling Nikolai and it would kinda of in a way "bleed" into the original Mob which would be the reason we hear that. it would have been due to both universes intertwining or something along those lines.

kentobrine 000 Ok I have a theroy I've been cooking for a while. I call it the Cod Multiverse. It pretty much says that every single universe in Call of duty is connected. The Origins universe is universe 63 but the Modern Warfare universe might be universe 12 or something like that. I don't think it will ever be explored like by Richtofen going to the advanced warfare universe or something like that but I think that it's cool to think about. So nightmares could be a fracture from the BO3 campaign universe. where element 115 has been planted there by the Apothicans

In the Doctors Quarters, there is a book shelf. Go up to it and one of the books when holding the action key lets off a loud laugh by Doc Rich...this easter egg was even in WAW. I wonder if that book is the diary?!?!

brandon gomez Nuketown's significance seems to simply be that it was one of the locations that was hit by on of the rockets launched from Griffon Station, with Marlton being the only survivor from the explosion since he hid inside a bunker.

Logan Pickells Maybe that too. I think players should just make up their own minds in the story. Like when you go through and play a game like Dark Souls. Don't look on the lore guides. It's more fun to put it together yourself. This whole timeline came out later anyways, after the you tubers put their theories out there and that probably influenced the little timeline they put together. You could say that it ruins the sense of surprise and mystery of it all.

no one goes to a random place, it was a working facility not to mention the element 115 was there so they did testing there and in the story line you do go back to it to get the note's but i could say world at war maps wont count since the console era was not tht great for hiding things and now there adding more than what the old maps ever had before

I nvr really followed the story to much but when I was younger I always thought Samantha was rict daughter that he was doing test that she didn’t like him doing so she snuck in to try to Salvatore well that was a mistake where there was an explosion and she became infected with way to much 115 where she was able to communicate with her father and she tried to make him go crazy and she tried to destroy him for doing what he did to make her do what she did in which u can say killed her She was out for revenge. Idk that was my thought but jumping from nap to nap I didn’t get that part down
