Ah, the early days of zombies. When the "quest" was just to meet up with your buddies. No 2 hour tutorial, no shooting random rocks, no 30 buildable parts.

No map played with party dynamics better than verrukt. I love that on solo or two player the map provides 2 different early games as well. It’s really disappointing that nowadays every zombies map has a 2 lane setup to it like, DE, der reise, kino, and many others. I like the outliers to this formula like die rise and buried that really changed how you play the map, despite some players not being able to handle the changes.
