I've always loved messing about with stationary, as kid I used to look at all the different colours and textures and make little books until I couldn't move for them ! Now as a very much older person I'm in my element as I make junk journals and sell them ! I love looking for old books in charity shops (when they are open !) and raiding everyones recycling bins and collecting the weird and wonderful in all things paper, so I love all the stuff you do, and the great thing it doesnt matter how many books I make or for how long there is always something new and exciting to learn. Thanks for all your informative and fun videos, I can watch for hours as you have such a lovely soft voice. x

I love all your videos but I seldom comment because I don’t want to miss anything😀 But this one I particularly enjoy because I love books and magazines and I have many I can’t move with me as I downsize. @@joiedefi thanks Joie we are doing well down here lol. I've been following you for a while but saw this morning notifications were turned off . Not just for your channel but many others aswell. I'm not sure if YT is turning off for some reason as I've seem alot of comments from other people lately aswell. So I unsubbed and re-subbed and turned notifications back on and hopefully that will fix it. I think it may hr something to do with me being subbed to way too many channels lol 😄💚💚

Joi, you are such a JJ princess. I enjoy hearing all those tips. I too have been searching children's books. I found5 for 1.00. ( golden books) really would love to get specific ones. Definitely either too much $ and must watch some, who do a tutorial. I could do that today. When you complete yours. Funny, that i still talk to you. Perfect. I said, right top when you were auditioning that wonderful post card. Definitely one of my favorite videos. However I must work on getting my boxes empty and put it in order. I too love the dictionary pages.

The technique of glueing only in the miles and not the sides remembers me of Marta from Maremi small art, she does that also and then layers upon layers and the end result is always gorgeous. Love the pop of colour that the atlas pages are giving to the hole composition.

I really enjoy your videos. I love your tips on color, fonts & paper placement. I do love paper & I am making the altered book to use just for collaging. I like my papers & colors to coordinate & use a variety of fonts. Sometimes I find a word or phrase in my papers & use it for the theme of my collage, which takes me in a whole other direction! This video was so good, thank you. I don't have a sewing machine but it won't stop me! I believe you can now buy stamps with faux stitching on and I may buy one but also would use some marrow braid or twine and perhaps modpodge the cover. I am a beginner and I loved your video. ☺

I like the way you collage, I was watching others do this but it was just not really what I like and now I know why. Tomorrow I'm starting my collage pages the base will be book pages that I glue together to a little bigger then an A4 then I can a cover for A5 pages. Thank you very much.
