He is the Mega talented bass for Backtrack vocals but has also done some stuff for Dcappella. He was also apart of a group called LUXE but I literally cannot find anything on that except for some awards he’s won.

@@duk8003, not quite to Geoff C. or Tim Foust's level, but definitely a very capable bass singer. The more I study Geoff, though, the more, as a bass singer, myself, I am beyond humbled at his ability. Geoff has to have the cleanest subharmonics out there; seen Voiceplay live and hearing and feeling Geoff's subs is a next level experience.

The sound of the bass line at 3:41 is so fuckin rude and dirty. I love it. Get this man and his chocolate smooth voice the recognition it deserves Not really hearing 8:50 go lower than maybe an A. Sounds like he kinda sits on the note

3:41 YESSS. the prolonged "funk" sounds like so smoooth 8:50 im hearing G2-G1 and then to E1 for a split second but maybe im wrong

Quite similar voice to Matt Sallee. And Matt Sallee has a fantastic low range so it just demonstrates how unbelievable of a low range JoJo has developed, JoJo is doing lots of super smart things in the 1st octave… lots of "throat constriction"… "twang" (i.e. epiglottic tube narrowing)… surprised DCappella didn't choose him

The majority of bass singers cannot reach below C2 or B1, so, yes, that is true.

I mean going lower doesnt necessarily make you the better bass singer. But i mean in the case of Jojo, it doesn't matter because he's so good anyway.

If Matt from Penatatonix leave for a reason, he will be a better fit for Penatatonix as a bassist also he is not human at all, he absolutely bring his vibe from his old group into Penatatonix.

depends on the editing app you use but i just copy the white D2 text and then past it to the duration of the note and then turn the 2nd text red. so the 2 texts are overlapping
