Not one person there had that man’s back. And that should be an eye opener for Chris. I would definitely reevaluate my involvement with a lot of those people especially the award show who allowed this to happen. My petty ass would’ve hit him with the mic in the back of the head 😂

@@JasonLeigh3 See that major factor here is that there shouldn’t have been a need for Chappelle’s security team to get involved in the first place, especially with the understanding that the Hollywood Bowl already had their security team out front - which also explains why Chappelle’s team were backstage instead of on the main floor. Your finger is pointed in the wrong direction buddy, aim it to the Hollywood Bowl.

@@warleyonwednesdays2286 I agree. If you’ve ever seen an outdoor concert, there’s typically a gap between the audience and the stage where media personnel and security stand. I vaguely remember the layout of the Hollywood Bowl, but the seating up front has individual booths or tables for groups with walkways in between. HB dropped the ball on this event, merely for the fact that the attacker had a weapon on him and was able to reach Dave. His security did the best they could in that situation.

I agree that no one should be able to get "famous" or get "attention" by doing criminal activities. There should be a line that the media doesn't cross to discourage people wanting to be remembered or seeking attention by doing these criminal acts. Don't use their names or pictures.... tell what happened but don't encourage others to do it with the same purpose.
