Get caught for doping twice, you're a cheater, I don't follow MMA but wanted to know the story since watching the clip on JRE, DC doesn't need to prove anything to JJ because JJ is a cheater. He should be banned for life for the integrity of the sport, it wont happen because he's a big draw but he's only accomplished what he did because he's a cheater.

That interview with DC when he's holding back tears and says "if he won both fights then there is no rivalry, so... so I don't know..." breaks me. He's totally drained, he has nothing left to give and still came up short, and I think that's a feeling most people that have competed in anything can empathise with. I'm glad he's found his rhythm in heavyweight and hope he continues to improve, he seems like a great guy.

He’s a double champion, the first double champion to defend both titles, a UFC hall of famer and now has a nice cushy commentator job getting paid every week while Jones has yet to fight in almost three years and still unsure if he’ll even compete again and has basically lost his family.

I kind of agree with it tbh. The belt is supposed to mean the person who is the best fighter at that weight. Even though DC won it and behaved like a champ while Jon Jones isn't, he didn't prove at that point that he was the best fighter at that weight class so to me it was a false belt, or more like an interim champ sort of deal.
