Candidates should be subject to competency testing and the whole process should be completely transparent. At any time testing is not made 100% public those conducting tests are charged for felonies. At any time candidates candidates refuse testing they are automatically disqualified.

Jon comes out and makes it just look so effortless. I was really starting to be convinced that these host shows just weren’t funny anymore, that maybe I had changed or the concept just didn’t really work for me, but the guy had me rolling for the first time in years. The world of television was worse without Jon in it, and I’m very happy to see his level head back on top.

I live in the Pacific and just here for the humor and getting some confirmation of what the world thinks of 'Merica. Last few years, this show was meh due to one-sided jokes and view point. So for Jon to come back and make jokes on both sides is a breath of fresh air.

When Argentina won the world cup, we had a massive parede. Almost 5 million people celebrating out in the streets! 5 MILLION! can you imagine that? I like Trevor because he's funny and pretty smart in interviews, but his position is very left leaning. With Stewart we have a middle ground, which is what I felt was missing when Trevor took over. In Jon Stewart's time, both the left and the right were his frequent guests; with Trevor it was largely the left. I didn't like how TDS became one sided; we need a balance view.

Jon Stewart is soooo coool in person. I was not expecting it. I was on his breakdance crew Pop n Lox on Jimmy Kimmel’s Brooklyn show in 2017. Jimmy was nice but exhausted. @@jcee5868So i looked into that claim and that was a published article of anonymous sources and that stated he also did not go to the graves for no reasons. However, the whitehouse released reports showing that the security in charge of the president said flying was ill advised because of weather and the route was too long to be done by car for security concerns. (It's hard to drive any president U.S. president a long distance in a foregin country). Basically there was no proof of this, the officials that could have been the anonymous witnesses have never came forward (one even wrote a book that was negative about Trump and didnt adress this). By all the evidence it seems to be a false accusation. There is soooooooo much to bash him about, but this particular accusation falls flat given the evidence.

Jon Stewart is the only individual who consistently adheres to logic. This is because both the GOP and DEM parties seem to prioritize their own interests over those of the American people. Stewart stands out as he takes risks that surpass those of any other talk show host, venturing into the heart of foreign conflicts to provide viewers with fact checks. This implies that he is even willing to risk his own life to do so. Indeed, we have capable individuals for presidential candidacy, but none seem willing to take the risk given the gravity of the issues we are confronting.

If Jon Stewart were to run for office in Biden's place, I believe he would win by a landslide. As a third party or independent candidate, Trump might actually pull off a victory. In a perfect world, Jon would announce his candidacy, Biden would drop out, and endorse him, and Trump would be serving time in a correctional facility.

Well, Im a Democrat, Not a liberal. Not sure why John is getting heat for this episode. I have been a moderate democrat my whole freaking life, and i grew up with John and the daily show. I'm ok with him clowning anybody (the daily show has always done this.), including Biden (who i voted for, and will again). Stop taking this too serious, sure i don't always agree, but its COMEDY, SATIRE etc. The main theme of this episode was their AGE. What John said about both Biden AND trump, in this episode is accurate and presented in a comedic way.

If you are a democrat, you are a liberal, hate to break that to you lol. Liberal is simply the opposite of conservative, in terms of how we use it today. If you are voting Democrat currently, you like something about their platform and all of their platform is liberal in nature. You may be a moderate liberal, but yeah. Liberalism is quite literally just believing in private property, market economies, individual rights, liberal democracy, secularism, rule of law, economic and political freedom, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, etc. I think what you are maybe thinking about is the conservative media's idea of what a liberal is. The whole wokeness battle and what not

Proud of you John for not catering to a particular party, bu8it having the courage to say what Americans truly feel. I have not watched the daily show since John stewart left. I will be watching every episode once again. John what you did for the sept 11th victims and advocating for them like you did over such a long time makes me proud to be a decade long combat vet. I will be running for Texas Senate and would be so proud to potentially be a guest one day. Welcome back my friend

The Biden thing keeps reminding me of Phil Hartman's "Ronald Reagan: Mastermind" sketch from SNL -- probably the sharpest piece of satire that show ever ran. (Yes, it's here on KZfaq)
