I realize that Jonah Hill has ascended to such a high level of confidence & comfort in his skin to say and be exactly who he is, that the people sitting at this table could not match his energy. He is so thrilled and so excited and so genuinely full of joy at what he's doing and where he is that the people around him came off as dim and one step behind the beat. I learned a lot from this interview and appreciate him dropping these gems. Also, really enjoyed the movie.

War dogs is another example of his acting depth. let us also keep in mind that he took a tremendous pay cut to be in wolf of wall street just so he can work with Scorsese

dominic burrola if you pay attention to the way they ask him questions in the beginning, they come off a bit aggressive and untrusting of Jonah because he’s coming off as infiltrating the culture for a guy of his status but soon warm up to him because of how genuine and authentic he continues to express himself about how hip hop was a big part of his life. @tonysobon4669
@tonysobon4669 3 жыл бұрын
@@ixa-3140 Because Tekashi is putting on a "front" and i get in a way with there different backgrounds he kinda has to but Jonah carried this interview not just based off him talking about his acting career but everything else that they took little jabs at , he had the right things to back it up. Plus Tekashi's problem (for me) in his interviews on this show was that he made mistakes and didn't fully own them and Tekashi is just younger and everything happened so quick that he wasn't seasoned as well. I mean Jonah made the point 2-3 times that he waited to do this show until he had more then just a movie to plug or got in trouble and was doing a "i'm sorry " tour. I watched both Tekashi's interviews and this one in the same day (i'm on a bing watch of this show pre covid) and i thought they were equal in entertainment but the first comment used the word "positive " and hands down Jonah has when considering he was talking about his career and life but again Tekashi is just younger and i could see him coming back in 10 years and being more positive. I cannot stand Tekashi's music and i thought he was just a meme but in his 2 interviews i do think he carried himself well and i think i basically said that but again i watching these for the first time and even tho he was still "fronting" a bit to much , it took balls for he to open up and real as much as he did with as you said all the craziness he was dealing with. I hope it works out for him after his interview but again i just think it was an age thing.
