Awesome sauce in every beat of every bar. And I always felt that the use of contrast in every aspect of the music, was one of the most fascinating things in Dirty Loops music. Here it’s explained, and omg, the detail. “That kinda candy stuff that you need when you’re making music…it doesn’t matter if anyone hears it, it’s just for you….” I didn’t pick it up consciously, but man, I felt it all…. I can't always auditorily process the individual sounds going on initially when I hear a full song, probably because I'm preoccupied with picking my jaw up off the floor at what I'm hearing, but once they're pointed out, I can never unhear them & I LOVE that! The eclectic mix of genres together I find fascinating and ear candy.
