@@MortenBN1988 A great master should sound decent at least on everything and terrible on nothing. Whoever typically works on the Dirty Loops tracks is a master at this and the rest of Jonah's album also sounds fantastic on the phone as well (which is pretty high end audio for a phone otherwise I wouldn't own it), but the upper harmonics of the vocals on this track distort pretty heavily toward the beginning at or above half volume and I had hoped they could catch it, but hadn't realized that the album was already published everywhere. I have become used to being able to enjoy everything else of Jonah's at full volume with no distortion.

@@JoelCarlson1 There’s nothing wrong with this master. You’re comparing full band tracks with an acapella track and expecting the same level of combined compression across the frequency spectrum. The distortion you (and everyone else on phone speakers) are experiencing on this track derives from the fact that mid/high pitch vocals are very narrow in their frequency range, and that you still have a volume requirement you have to reach so your track isn’t lower volume than all other tracks on the album. High volume level combined with narrow mid/high range frequencies is like a spear for small speakers and it is *impossible* to prevent without lowering volume and that’s obviously a bad choice given that the problem is only occurring on super small speakers not made for music anyways. In other words, it’s a common physical (like physics) issue that applies to small speakers. Some devices have built in compressors to address this, but it’ll still sound a bit off. You don’t have the problem on full band tracks since the dB of the mid/high-range is lower because there needs to be room for a lot more. These tracks are compressed/eq’ed more evenly.

It's fabulous as it is. No other version needed.
