As much as is in the middle of nowhere it's about 400yds off of I-70 and near the southward turn to Moab. Not really many other places to get gas until near Fruita, CO

The whining only came when he asked her to fly, and I believe her inexperience made her feel overwhelmed by the complexity and the responsibility of that multitasking. I would be curious to hear her take on it. Too bad, because it could save her life to get some basic skills, and that's only straight and level flying. Took her out of her comfort zone, which is fairly wide already, don't you think?

You can't land anywhere... just anywhere that you're clear of obstructions and structures. Also some municipalities will have specific ordinances against aircraft landing, but other than that yeah. There's a lot of wide-open space in this country so if you have an aircraft that can handle it you can just do it.

@@a64738 well in the US, you also need permits to fly drones and you need a pilots license to fly a plane. He is just operating in uncontrolled airspace here, which allows him to do this awesome land-anywhere deal as long as he stays 500 ft away from people, vehicles, and buildings (which idk if he really did...).

At 17:17 there was a very secluded sandbar...not sure I'd even try landing a paraglider....I must say from the video's I'd say you too are both very lucky people to do what you love and have such amazing people to share it with! Keep being the great ambassadors for the G.A. community that you are!

This is the life, my father skydiver for 10 years. When I was 5yrs old I watched him jump out of that plane and I will never forget that. Since then I have always loved any and all kinds of aircraft.....

Several years ago I was working towards a pilots license. I live in the central east coast. Once I saw all the prohibited airspace and limited traffic corridors in the area, I said forget it. Love your channel and videos. Keep enjoying that western wide open flying!

The best video I have seeing for a longtimeI did enjoined it a lot! 20 years ago in the process of buying a Super Cup to do flies like yours but in Venezuela;a big Russian helicopter hit an hangar when it was landing; and a piece of the roof when straight like a missile into the front of the plane, braking the windshield and part of the front engine: I have to wait months to be paid and repair by the insurance; so my adventures were shot from the beginning! I did have a B33 for 12 years, but those were good different type of adventures! I lived now in Georgia, and working now to get my 107 to fly my drones and also refreshing to get back my commercial private license! Keep doing good videos, you are my hero! Eddie

Old aviation saying - “better to be down here wishing you were up there than up there wishing you were down here”. I am constantly amazed and impressed by your lovely co-pilot. Not only is she comfortable flying she is a capable, contributing set of eyes in the cockpit. Calling out traffic, towers, and good places to land for a nature break. Drink and drain...😆

What a cool weekend. $4.50 a gallon doesn't seem cheap to me. When I was flying I complained about $2.00 per gallon. I most definitely miss flying. Thanks for the videos!
