The one thing I do think they should have done is make his memorial, service more public. He was of public interest and had international fans. He told people he was going to kill himself over and over again without anyone intervening. Someone saying they want to kill themselves once can be put down to stress or having a bad day. If someone talks about committing suicide over and over again like he did I would take it seriously . I would intervene and try to get them help. People had the opportunity to stop him and didn't take it seriously.

I was in SoBe and wandered into little newsstand and there at the counter was a paper with the sad news that Jonathan had taken his own life starring me in the face. I started crying right there in from of total strangers. I remember it like it was yesterday. And to this day I still really miss Jon. I hope he finally found the happiness he was looking for. RIP Jonathan you will never be forgotten.

Jonathan died in 2003 and I didn't find out about his passing the following year when I was watching the SAG Awards and I was shocked when I saw his name and picture come up in their In Memorium segment.

scalpelli i found out 3 in a half years later(2006) by doing some research on the cast of IT. My heart sank when I saw a death date by his name. And it sank deeper when I saw suicide.
