What the Americans forced on Golda Meir in 1973 , to stand down and NOT preemptively strike Egypt, didn't the Americans do exactly the same thing on Oct 7th? The information about hamas' intentions was known. What is the benefit to the Americans if Israel does not strike preemptively?

It’s all about appeasing the Arab nations and diminishing Israel little by little. One day America will fall hard and it will be of its insolent towards Israel.

Nations have interests which often conflict with those of its "friends". US at times doesnt want problems with Araba world. Because the Arabs know US has huge influence over Israel, any Israeli action they dont like, they get angry with US for not reigning in Israel. The "AID" to Israel by America buys that influence

But it was actually netanyahu's decision not to strike preemptively. The Americans had nothing to do with holding the israelis back in gaza before and during october 7th.

Extremely intriguing! Amazing , the intricacies that exist in the relationship between nations! But even a layman knows how dubious is the US! At least as an Indian i am sure Pakistani is my enemy!

Scott Ritter ,who is without a shadow of a doubt the best military man alive and who has actually fought in multiple wars and definitely not a titttletale would actually agree with this individual...US,like in the Ukraine , is ,if not already losing interest. Fight this alone ,Israel ,you don't need the world .

The state department position was considered arabist To call it anti-semitic is less precise The boycott of armament sales or transfers predated at the establishment of the state and was prosecuted without Mercy throughout the world In all my years of trying to figure out the liberty, the Egyptian look alike boat had never been revealed, would be curious to know if the official report did reveal that. Anti-jewish behavior within the state department existed parallel and pre-existing to the time of Jonathan and he was in the navy, all these sub departments have their own parallel adherence of ideologies that avoid reality

The Liberty has already been thoroughly reviewed. The ussr had spies in the cia, the philby gang, the liberty was spying on Israel and transmitting the information to the cia in Washington DC, the philby gang in the CIA was then transmitting the information to the ussr embassy in Egypt and the ussr embassy gave the information to Egypt. No more Liberty 💥,

I felt the same way-- despite reading widely on the USS Liberty incident, I never read of a similar Egyptian vessel in the area. Much is made of the American flag clearly displayed. Perhaps it was distrusted as a possible false flag. So much at stake at the time. Pollard should publish a book on his findings, as this incident alienates so many in comments I see-- especially veterans. I appreciate your opening two lines.

His writings would be devoured by me, listening to him talk he's a bit scattered but has so many gems of knowledge... Another insight I gained today was him explaining that he was nationless in his pursuit of transferring truth, this was his own ideology which in hindsight and even at the time has been proven true as nothing that he's promoted has ever been implemented. I'm 58 and having watched this go down in my lifetime and now 10/7, Jonathan's insights at this time are priceless and I'm enjoying the Torah studies with them too. I noticed that they never reply to anyone's comments and the comments here can certainly be spicy as you noted. Rabbi Dov Fischer has a series on Israeli history that is a deep dive and full of gems. I'm sure you listen to Caroline Glick. Israel update on Rumble is a good channel too
