Thanks Jonathan, really enjoyed this. When the time comes, look into a pop-top camper for your truck. Cook inside, stand up, running water, heat, nice propane fridge, and hang out when it's the "bug hour" in the evening and you want to eat dinner in peace. Mine's a '94 LiteCraft on a 2002 Tacoma and oh boy is it awesome in all weathers! The Sawtooths....aaahhhh. Sawteeth?

Just noticed where you are at. One of my most favorite places in Idaho. There is a camp ground on the opposite side of the dam just below the dam. It has a hiking trail that goes to upper and lower palisades Lakes. I am 60 and do to Heath issues I can no longer make the hike (been going there since I was 6) but it definitely some of my favorite memories.

I like this camper setup. Its quite good. Have you considered a compact fire pit drum. There's ample dead wood there to collect or chop. Even the sticks scattered are nice firewood. How about hot links over a fire 😁☕ The wood can be used to cook with too. 18:13 holy moly 19:31 Bro, that is outrageous.
