Silk Sonic is the gift that just keeps on giving! The fact that they get better every single time you see them and they are live too? The videos engage you. Has everyone noticed how much you smile looking at a silk sonic video? How happy they look performing for us? Man this is feel good music. I mean, to be fair, Bruno has already proved what he can do as a solo artist and has had success already doing so. He has nothing to prove. This silk sonic experience is for the love of music and tbh shows how much Bruno respects Anderson’s talent as a musician. Less about the ego and more about the vibes

I'd venture to say that Silk Sonic isn't just the best thing to have happened, music-wise, in 2021, but in the 21st century, period. Well, it's really Bruno, he just took it to a whole new level with Anderson. I was a teen in the 90s, and this is all I have wanted for the past 20 years.

i saw anderson paak open for watsky in denmark, years ago, from the front row at a smallish venue. he made a music video with crowd footage from there and my friend who stood next to me can be seen in it. it’s wild to see how mainstream and successful he’s become, makes me proud 🥲

Well you would think both are mature and humble seeing as they are solo artist who formed a group. It seems like minimizing the other by saying one is " letting them shine" the purpose of a group is for both to shine and combine talents.

I get what you're saying, but let's be real here; Bruno is a MUCH LARGER STAR AND NAME than Paak. If Bruno wanted to he could've easily been a prick and not worked with Paak and I guarantee you he still would've put out a great album. I mean hell, Paak was opening for Bruno on his last tour. Paak had his first #1 single this year and it was Leave The Door Open, a top 20 with Skate, and so far a top 5 with Smokin Out The Window (soon to be #1 probably). Their album debuted at #2. Why am I saying all of this? It's because Leave The Door Open was Bruno's 10th #1 single, Skate was his 16th top 20 single, and Smokin Out The Window is his 14th top 10 or higher. The album is Bruno's 3rd consecutive album to debut in the top 3. So let's not act like Bruno isn't raising Paak's profile, popularity, and career to new heights. Don't get me wrong, though. Paak has definitely proven his chops and that he belongs on that stage right next to Bruno. Paak is gonna be a made man after this album.

The music industry has been feeding us with such crap these past few years, past few decades ( with some notable exception like the Late Amy Winehouse and a few others), it was about time someone came to reset the clock and bring back the real thing. Silk Sonic just did that and might have saved the craft. Let's hope this to be "the" trend to come.
