Great interview. I swear, after watching Johnny’s KZfaq videos of his cooks, I’ve had to rethink everything I thought I knew about what should be and what shouldn’t be done when smoking meats. Really cool to see him blowing up now and it’s well deserved

Camel story great. My parents had same thing in 80s. Guy walks out camel towards desert with my dad. He finally forks over like $20. Guy brings him back. Mom’s chewing him out and dad says “ I had to-I was heading to Rommel country”. 🤣

So how does it work when you are one of five partners and decide to go off to Colorado to become a rancher? Would be interesting to hear Jirby's take on competition barbecue. It sounds like they don't really go in for that (like me and my partner).
