HR, a female dominated department, and feared by all. Any coincidence? It's become the power base in many companies but in fact offers no productive benefit in reality by not feeding into the reason for business, profit. I know, before professionals interject, that it can save money, but without all of the red tape it's created would there be such a culture needing those savings in the first place?

I'm an engineer. Once, while in the field, a female engineer did something so excruciatingly stupid that it almost got three guys killed. Since I was in command at the site I completely flipped out and read her the riot act just like I would read it to a man, expletives and all. She broke down, started crying, called me a bully and ran out of the room. The rest of the team, all males, gave me a standing ovation. The next day I fired her ass. She filed a discrimination complaint but HR just laughed at her.

At work is a different matter. The problem with women at work is that their bosses have been, mostly by the government, inundated with the need to hire and promote women, no matter their levels of knowledge or experience, while men, like me, with YEARS of experience and knowledge in leading groups get tossed out, so the company can "look good". If you don't believe me, just ask Gordon Anderson of CH Robinson in Eden Prairie, MN, as he back stabbed just about all the men in his department when his "Mommy" Wendy Welsch told him to.

To be agreeable means to tend to avoid conflict in the current moment. Very agreeable people will avoid conflict in longer time-spans. "Women create drama and conflict when things are dull." While men seek to make things dull. That makes sense though in terms of how a relationship works. Finding problems and solving problems is what drives the need for a relationship and even drives life as a whole. It's like having a car in drive. You don't want the engine to stop even when you are sitting at a red light. Thus women create seemingly petty problems for you to solve so that the engine doesn't shut off. The whole explosion thing makes it seem like a bad thing on women's part but from an unbiased view everything is working exactly how it should.

The exception is when there's a big difference in the height/size between the men. If you're a smaller guy, and they abuse you because they can get away with it, if you rightfully get angry and go on a rant, both men and women alike will just perceive you as being a crybaby, instead of simply looking at what the other guy did at face value and acknowledging the simple observation that they treated you like shit for no reason. Both men and women alike turn a blind eye to the abuse and domination of men who are perceived as weak or low-status, be it due to height, or being feeble-minded, etc. It's all rooted in the subconscious perception of men being valued and respected as human doings and status objects, not being inherently respected for their character as a human being. It's the satanic "might-is-right" value system. Do what thou wilt, do whatever you have the power and status to do, do it if you can get away with it.

A woman's tone of voice is one of the most important ways a woman shows respect or disrespect to a man. For a man, tone of voice can be even more important than the words she uses. No one talks about this, but it is huge. Men are strong physically, but we can be cut to the bone with the smallest of things that most women don't even understand, or some women do understand and use them like weapons. That's why so many men are MGTOW. They are sick of the subtle and unnecessary games.

Why are men tired of women’s shit called “MGTOW” and women sick of men’s shit are called “feminazis”. Newsflash as a man you are not obligated to give a woman your attention or time. You were never obligated to date or get married or have sex with a woman if it is not in your inclination to do so. Nobody is forcing you. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for many women of the world. Forced child marriage amongst girls is still common in the world. In many countries a woman does not even have the right to be called a human being and she is completely at the will of the males and her family for her life. She does not get to choose whether or not she wants to marry or have children it is forced upon her and expected. If she makes a fuss about it or refuses she will be severely punished and sometimes killed. Until this no longer happens feminism needs to exist.

You might be right even though you probably meant it in the form of agreeability (why women don't fare well in sticking up for ourselves as we want to be agreeable). I remember being bullied constantly at my job, being the one of the few, and at times only female working with all men. No matter how many times I stood up for myself and was right, I never "earned respect with some of the men; only with the the top 2 leads for my work. It was only not to rock the boat with their managers that they feigned respect towards me. When they weren't there they would try and diminish me and bully me. The rules seem to change being a woman. In fact many times you're perceived as a trouble maker, rude, etc. when speaking up. We don't do well not because of our agreeableness factor, but also the journey to the same respect is very different.

The problems between men and women arise primarily because we have different forms of communication. Men prefer to communicate OVERTLY. That is what we are respected for. Honesty, straight to the point, no beating around the bush, meaning what you say, saying what you mean. That is what earns men respect with other men. Women on the other hand, prefer to communicate COVERTLY. They are more obsessed with what feelings the communication entices, and what are the subtle messages and information bits that you are sending. They try to explore the "emotional aspects" of communication, instead of focusing on the message. Now when you have two forms of communication clashing, this causes a problem. Seeing as the western society is mostly fem-centric, all kinds of overt, masculine communication are seen as potential bullying, as Peterson says. Why? Because women want to attach an emotional connotation to your ACT of delivering the message, rather than the content of the message. Thus, if they feel threatened by your message, even if it is 100% accurate, factual, and truthful you get labeled as a bully. The society has adopted this schema, and that is why men are getting attacked by society. Further more, females expect that you are OVERT in your communication when you inform of your intentions, actions etc...HOWEVER they reserve their "right" to change their mind, to be unknowable, mysterious, with their words. The so called "female prerogative". They CAN hide their intentions, but if we as men do so, then we are thought of as less than men. Essentially, women hijack the male concepts of honor and honesty, to suit their own imperative. Think carefully how and what you communicate with women.

Lauren Gibson Good points. What you wrote there is intra gender competition. Women constantly work on disqualifying other women on the subtle communication plane in order to make them seem less worthy of a partner or male attention. If women resort to overt shaming of other women, that is usualky because they have exhaisted all of the covert means of devaluing her.

Men are dropping out for a lot of reasons. Peterson's boomer analysis doesn't factor in the amount of sex partners women 18-35 have before marriage, which is one of the biggest predictors of divorce. If marriage is too risky, men will just seek sex or masturbation. The sexual revolution has destroy the incentives for family formation, which was one of the spurs for men to compete with other men. Now the risks outweigh the rewards.

And the only way I can get these people off my back is when other men (who understand the value of "alone time" for some human beings) make fun of the alpha's antics. So yes, it is a GIGANTIC shortcut to generalise men this/women this, but my experience as a woman who is more taciturn, introverted and analytical is that most people of both genders can be a pain in the neck when you first encounter them.

Side point to your story: I think you've misread the "alpha" in this situation. In the instance you mention, the alpha's are the ones poking fun at the other male (who then responds by stopping.) If it were the other way around, the alpha wouldn't be following the commands of the other males... Not to say that some dominant males aren't disrespectful idiots, which I think is closer to your point haha

Women do more suicide attempts than men though. Men usually use more lethal methods, shooting yourself vs swallowing sleeping pills, for example. That makes it harder to panic and regret your decision. Also many middle aged men haven't been maintaining their relationships (women are generally better at that) so they can't get emotional support from others (lack of friends), they're also less likely to seek professional help.

Serious note here, but I think you meant to say "There isn't a woman alive who won't grow contemptuous of a man she CANNOT dominate" because women get frustrated when they have to take charge. It might look like they want to do it, but they hate it. Even in many lectures and conferences women have revealed that their bitter-authoritative selves telling "JERRY! take out the GODDAMN TRASH!" they actually hate it. Deep down they admit they dislike being in charge like that. And they'd much rather have a man who dominates them. (Not in an oppresive way, but in general just be a man in the relationship y'know?) Furthermore, women being masculine is a defense mechanism acting on frustration. They'd love to have a real man, but they cannot get it and thus become men themselves, and wish for anything in the world they could be their old femenine selves again.

By abandoning marriage, work and education men are acting rational. These institutions come with high risk but very low rewards so men are dropping out all together. Marriage has a 50% divorce rate with women initiating most of the divorces. Men however are still required to pay to maintain their lifestyle, pay for a house they don't live in and pay for children they can't see. THAT'S A BAD DEAL. These days most companies expect you to work hard long hours for low wages and little to no benefits. Plus they can cut your hours or dismiss you whenever the economy slows down or dismiss you and move overseas so they can maximize their profits. THAT'S A BAD DEAL. College these days requires taking on huge loans which you will not be able to get rid of for your entire life no matter how much you pay back. Plus as you graduate the jobs we were promised are no longer there. The only ones you can get are low paying or temporary gigs which have no benefits. THAT'S A BAD DEAL. So men are not stuck on some peter pan syndrome or failing to launch or whatever bullshit these clowns call it. Men are just recognizing these institutions are a bad deal and walking away.

The clip immediately starts off with Peterson describing women as "scoring reliably higher than men" in several positive categories. But you can see he takes the trouble to avoid this kind of language in the reverse. He doesn't flat out say "men are better at conflict resolution than women"; instead he goes through soft mental gymnastics to try to describe this as some sort of lateral difference at best. With the caveat that the female approach is more complex while men are simpletons. This tendency to woman-worship is so pervasive and palpable. Two intellectuals discussing gender should acknowledge and discuss it, not practice and ignore it.

The "bailing out" has a financial component, that may be more important. 1. College has become both expensive, and less useful. Why spend $100,000 on degree, when you can start a business instead? Universities were created after WW2 to supply companies with middle managers. The flattening of company organizations have reduced the need for middle managers. 2. The route to success is now being your own boss, having a technical skill, owning a company, being independent. A degree is not needed for any of that.

Respect has to be earned intellectually. Men have to hold back their intellect in the workplace for fear of bullying so they are steering clear of communication with women, and now even in relationships men are fearful hence why many men are no longer entering relationships. Just like Jordan said men are choosing to "avoid it."

"Respect has to be earned intellectually." How does that happen, then? A written essay with citations? Who marks it? How "intellectual" does it have to be? What is "intellectual"? Describe and reference the examples you use in your statement: 'Men have to hold back their intellect in the workplace for fear of bullying'; there is a level of fear that prevents men from entering relationships and communication'(1) 1) Alan, H., 'Respect has to be earned intellectually'. It's scary for women, too. EVERYONE loses when a marriage breaks up! Don't you realize that both men and women have to work at keeping a marriage together? Or that it's extremely difficult to raise a child well without a partner to cover your back? Or that trying to form two separate households on the same amount of income is difficult all around? Or that raising children is a project that is for the rest of your lives whether those lives are together or separate? It's not the court system that needs to change. SOCIETY needs to change to help people maintain their commitments and work out their problems in a mutually satisfactory manner. We've made it too easy for people to divorce. Men, women, and children all suffer as a result of this.

@xxcelr8rs 5 жыл бұрын
Of course Its obvious two house holds on one income is much more difficult, and yes..the reason we are here,..the children..Lets start with the courts, the total bullshit scam that has to be turned on its head. Wrongo sister Gabriella, the REASON it is easy to divorce is the laws suck. Only guys reproducing are really rich or flat broke and partner with Uncle Sam. The good men are betrayed by American laws. Its so shabby.

The eagerness to conclude who wins in a Men vs. Women in the comment section is mind-blowing. And also suggestive of the maturity of the fans. There definitely is some truth in these statements but no body is caring enough to understand 'why' and daring enough to 'own' the fact that WE still need each other to run this world. . Simple tools you can use to widen your perspective - an objective look at history to understand, empathetic observation of present and faithful believe in the future to accept. . Those who understand will understand this.

I love Jordan, but his view on male bailing out on academia seem to be a little off to me. To begin with, academia appears to be flooded with SJW's and feminists, who reject and ridicule anyone with opposing viewpoints. After all, people like James Demore and Jordan Himself, have become "famous" due to expression of opposing viewpoints, and the subsequent reactions by authoritative bodies. Secondly, there appears to be an anti-male rhetoric in academia and the public in general. For instance, where feminism in the past has brought awareness to female issues the males issues have had limited forum for discussion. In this day and age however, forms of covert misandry (male hatred), have become overt. Hence terms commonly used such as, patriarchy, toxic masculinity, and white male privilege. I wonder how academic bodies would react if the term "toxic femininity" was used, or an opinion against affirmative action was expressed in stem. For that matter are these organizations in the slightest bit aware on the effects on developing boys who have not thought of nor developed opinions. After all, they are constantly being told they are harmful (toxic masculinity), that they are oppressive (patriarchy etc.) and they need to change, while issues which they may have are ignored. This leads into my last point. The young male in this day and age is faced with a major challenge. To begin with a large number of boys have limited contact with positive male role models. Either as a result of a broken home, or the majority of school teachers being women. In addition, it is likely that at least some teachers have some form of misandry (covert or otherwise) after being educated through the above mentioned systems. Finally, none of these issues are addressed, these boys have no voice, and their concerns of which they remain unaware are swept under the carpet, as they are exposed to a media in which if they are to be acknowledged at all, it is to be as some sort of predator, oppressor, or buffoon, while the same media implies that female can do no wrong. All of this leads to negative affect, and dissociation from academia and society at large for boys and men. And if there is any form of bullying it appears to be mostly against the masculine. After all, males in university have been a declining minority for decades, yet the most common issue voiced is the lack of women in stem fields, not the lack of men over all, in a system claiming to promote equality, while condoning an anti-male rhetoric as mentioned above.

This is dead on right. I have been taught to avoid women whenever possible, because there is no way to get a point across without either being "confrontational" which is bad, or ignored. Well why should I ever bother talking to someone who is either going to dismiss me, or accuse me? There is nothing worse than being around a woman manager, and even other women employees will tell you this. It sucks.

Take this for what it's worth. My mother immigrated from Holland when she was 18 in 1946. By 25, she married my dad, and 'lead' him into opening several restaurants over the years. From there, they opened a real estate company and reached #1. Dad was the salesman, or what you would call front man. Very good looking, had the gift of the gab, but needed direction. Mom was in the background pushing him. Her 1 piece of advice that always stood out was "Chris, watch out for women today, they're all bitches." She knew it 40 years ago, having lived through WW2. I never forgot it and was lucky to marry that 1 in 100. she was the smartest person I've met in my life, and helped me open multiple retail locations across Canada with my own business.
