My oldest grandchild watched this video with me before bedtime. He wants one now! I got the fabrics for the trees and background, but will let him choose the fabric for the back and the dividers. Thank you for encouraging a young boy to love fabrics!

I love your tutorials and look forward to every one. You are a wonderful teacher. I was in the teaching profession for 36 years and I know a good teacher when I see one. Donna and Matt, I’ve been an average quilter. I recently joined a ‘VALOR’ quilt guild, and with the help of your tutorials, I’ve been able to ‘Grow” my knowledge and confidence. I’m now pumping out tops and challenging myself with more than the “Log Cabin” kits. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and helping others succeed. We appreciate you guys!

Hi Donna great quilt as usual. I like the idea of making this but adding an extra row of trees and some numbered pockets on the trees, and turning it into a giant advent calendar.

That’s so beautiful, and must say, I’m so happy you showed me how to machine appliqué😊 I’ve always struggled with that. I think those trees would make a lovely table or bed runner, and place mats, for us who live in warmer climes. Thanks so much, from Australia.

Wow, I love this pattern! I've been avoiding applique because it always looked too complicated and time consuming, but you just made it look soooo easy. I'm definitely up for the challenge now. Thank you for all the tutorials and beautiful patterns. I've learned so much from you. Oh yeah, and your tip for using a hand weight on the ruler is a lifesaver. It makes a huge difference in my accuracy.

I have never done Appliqué on a regular sewing machine before but you make it look so easy. Gorgeous quilt, Donna! I LOVE the quilt you’re giving away too. Fall. Is my favorite time of the year. Watched this awhile ago and put this on my I need to make this but saw someone who did it in blue trees and now I really want to make this now even though I have almost all my Christmas stuff packed away. But I think I will stick with the greens. Great video and pattern.

Hi Donna. Thx for another beautiful tutorial. Both quilts are stunning!! Ill be making the " Ponderosa Pine" for Christmas. The "Amber Waves of Grain" in the rail fence pattern is gorgeous.
