GE Profile Ultrafast 2-in-1 Combo Washer Dryer Hidden Service Mode

In the last video we had unboxed configured and tested this GE Profile 2 in 1 washer dryer combo unit. However there is a hidden maintenance mode for technicians that provides much more information about the unit. With values for error codes and temperature sensors and humidity levels made available to use, its strange to imagine why this couldn't be integrated into the app as humidity and temperature would be so important to the drying of clothes. Either way, we can finally have a look at what the machine is seeing.

It showed they could have provided more to the user. In about four months we’ll be opening the heat pump for an inspection

This is awesome, great video and thank you for the knowledge. @GE needs to take a look at this and definitely do some software updates to send notifications for all this small issues to make not only the machine better but the end user experience too, happy people will definitely be referring others if the experience that have is nothing but good.

I am getting an faulty error code 8 meaning that the machine isn't getting enough water. I'm running water from my sink to the unit. Thanks for this video. I'll see about running a diagnostic on it.

My GE Combo W/D failed to dry clothes after 7 months of use. 7 tech visits, new heat pump, new mainboard, it still fails. Even after the W/D cycle and adding another 45 minutes to the dry time . . . fail. GE Cares fighting tooth and nail to NOT issue an RA #. Regardless of outcome I will NOT be going with GE due to horrible post sales support. How many of you have 4 days of PTO to give up while tech guess at issues?

We recently bought one of these and we were a bit skeptical. Honestly I love it and recommend it highly, with some caveats. You need to understand that you can't over or under load the machine. If you put too much laundry in the machine it won't dry, just like a regular dryer. If you put too little in it, again it won't dry! I would never expect my regular dryer to properly dry a large or tiny load either. I wish GE would fix the smart dispense fabric softener notification though. I love being able to put a load of clothes in when I leave for work and come home to dry clothes, or overnight, the laundry is dried for me and ready to fold!

A firmware update came out this week, they may have fixed a few issues, also added a pet hair mode
