18:15 I get it, your style of unbiased criticism and suggestions for airlines is why you're my fave avgeek channel (Noel is also epic) and your self-awareness of being treated better than the average traveller is admirable, yet you still apply fair critiques whenever you fly regardless of the upgrades/class. Wonderful collaboration! Also, I love how these national carriers show off their premium products, at least as compared to countries that are completely privatized. You really get a much better experience as these national airlines are looking to show off not only their airlines, but their country and culture as well.

Great video Josh, it's great to see Air Uganda doing so well. Many years ago I worked at LGW when their B707 used to come in, half pax & half freight, it was an interesting aircraft! Good to see the airline thriving👍

Ok, cool video (I also love the A330-800/-900neo) but what was coolest for me was at 17:55 when the engine throttles up and sucks in sand/debris from the runway and you see sparks as it hits the fan blades... I have never seen that before!! Very cool!

Both you & @noelphilips will probably agree with me that I always feel better filming, and just enjoying the trip altogether when you have someone else along with you who also has the same interest and passion as you do. It makes the trip all the more enjoyable and I always feel I'm able to relax a little more than when say travelling with friends or family who dont always carry the same level of understanding or enthusiasm as fellow Avgeeks. Uganda Airlines is one of my favorite carriers and when visiting my family, I often stopover in Cairo so I can fly them, because of my employment as a captain for Austrian they often give me an upgrade.

All the crew are soo friendly either it be ground crew or flight!! Amazing… A330-800Neo is an Amazing Plane for sure.

I just flew a quick return trip to Kampala from Dubai, and picked Uganda Airlines. Was not disappointed. Economy on the way over, and premium economy on the way back. In both cases the crew were great, smiling and friendly but also professional. On the economy flight to Entebbe, it was chock-a-block full, passengers were bringing on far too much luggage and there was seating mix-ups. But the crew was so professional in dealing with it, with safety in mind, and always had control of the cabin. Even the passengers next to me were friendly. On the return flight in Premium Economy, it wasn't so full. Crew were amazing, and I got to the sort of service I'd usually get in business class elsewhere. Oh ... and the food! I had a big chunk of beef that tasted like it was straight off the cow. Big thumbs up for Uganda Airlines.

Nice to see the rare bird of Uganda Airlines on Josh's channel again. Hope they will serve the destinations they planned before like London, Guangzhou, and Mumbai and bring in profits and probably order more of the A330-800s.

Here for that amenity kit 😜 but honestly, the cabin crew as well as the airport crew seemed to really enjoy their jobs and it showed in their customer service. A+

A very informative vlog! Great to see UA putting on new ‘planes. Back in December 1997 I flew with Alliance Air from LHR / Entebbe and back. This was a joint venture between SAA / Uganda and Tanzania. Unfortunately a few years later it packed up, presumably due to lack of demand. After Entebbe, the ‘plane stopped at Dar and then JHB.

Well done Josh.. Great review as always... nice to see Uganda Airlines maintaining such good service standards. Next time if you get to fly to London, please give us an Economy class review coz that will help a lot of travellers.. All in all, great work mate. Cheers. Love from Sri Lanka...
