I have to hand it to them on this one. It doesn't lack features, looks sharp. Just think about how far it's come since the gen 7-e10 days. 6-7 years ago having something this good out of the box would have had us all getting in line.

You are going to love these rails. I use them to build my ratrods. You can buy them separately pretty cheap and at 1.5mm thick they are robust enough to weld to, or cut and weld without easily burning through them. With the front mount trans and now the 2 speed I am planning another ratrod! But I would like to see what you (the master) do with such a setup.

I like what I see. This has come along way from the GEN seven which turned me off on red cat. It’s good to see their learning and they’re making a better product for us. Thanks for the video.

This is great looking Scout. I like the blue and this may just be my first RedCat. One thing though, Scouts were very heavy. They 4 wheeled ok but were tanks.

I like it especially the body,really like how the tires tuck up inside the wheel wells while crawling without rubbing..I would really like to see a TF2 or C2X comparison crawl at the same time.

We bought the Gen9 Saturday, and the axle shaft pin already broke. Hopefully it was just a fluke on my Gen9 and not anything to do with the new design. We filed a warranty claim on it this morning and hope to hear back from the company soon.

Nice review I have a custom Gen 8 V2 Marksmen & the Windigo I’ve been waiting for a new Redcat Crawler forever. I’m just thrilled. I think for the price it’s a good deal & the more I see the body the more it grows on me & I see a lot of potential. That being said he’ll ya I’m getting one. Plans first to get metal beadlocks asap & a Hobbywing Fusion Pro & to start metal Treal front axle because one of the test videos I watched the front axle broke. That silver color is nice. I’m going to keep the servo till it blows but I’ve seen it’s actually not bad on a higher voltage.

I have a gen8 v2 that has been amazing, no issues and a ton of fun. I bet this one is a blast!

Im stoked to finally see true bead lock rims! I've got one set of unknown true bead locks for my sons ecx barrage that I like cause they're easier to mount up for me personally

Pretty solid review and the park looked like a decent place to test rigs out at. I think everyone had problems with the mirrors, at least all the videos I have seen had mirror issues. I am just glad its not a Jeep or a Toyota.

Had to get one of these, got the silver one.

Bout time they addressed some issues 💁🏻‍♂️. My first crawler was a GEN-8 & my second is a GEN-8 AXE…. There’s a world of difference & yet both still have the same issues. 1. Steering servo is weak (imo most RTR’s are weak & should be upgraded) 2. Panhard 3 link 🤢 (simply the worst) Bumpsteer is ALWAYS an issue unless you relocate the servo. I had two dif mounted brackets made by a good friend on his 3D printer & that made a huge difference. 3. Stock rims & tires were awful. LOVE the new ones!! 4. The steering portals & covers made of plastic SUCK! I broke so many I can’t count. I wouldn’t be on the trail more than 3 minutes & id be broke down 😡😤 I had ordered T-REAL petals & covers along with T-REAL C channels…. (BEST DECISION I EVER MADE) 4. Switching to a 2 speed transmission?…. 🥰 Nuff Said… 5. Body mounts… The jury is still out… After watching this video, I think Redcat made a lot of upgrades and I really am digging the new body , especially the rear! All in all, I think it’s a very capable rig… but I won’t know for sure, until I get my own. Thanks For The Video

Naice Review of a Great RC Truck!

Wish there was more rc crawling courses in our area of Texas it’s a two hr ride to go anywhere and crawl from where we live, good review though for a basic trail truck it seemed to do alright….

My friend the servos not 24 oz of torque that wouldn't move the wheel, it 24 kg and 40 smthn kg on 8.4 volts which equates to roughly 250 oz in of and 450 oz in of torque respectively 👍🏼

Great video. I’m not sold on the Gen 9. It looks ok just not quite right. I’ll have to see what people do with it.

No offense to you, you are just the Messenger but it's a shame to see Redcat following axial's lead. "Let's send a unit to each of the top ten reviewers before the unit is available to the general public" . I really really hate that! 14:22 shows they obviously did not fix the torque twist issue and 14:32 shows the famous redcat "shock stuck" pose lol. Again the biggest complaint is they should make you guys wait until the day they are at our local dealer, available to the consumer before you guys get the go ahead to release your reviews. Oh well they just lost $400 of my dollars. I can wait until they are in the bargain bin at my LHS. The Gen 8's are down to $250 in my area. Awsome video though. Exceptional job at showcasing it.
