Not something I can see spending the money on again but had never been to the Grand Canyon or in a Helicopter so knocking off two bucket list items in one shot made it worth it to me

This is an awesome video! Im born and raised in Las Vegas and have seen everything you can in the southwest, but for some reason I have never taken one of the Maverick heli tours of the strip or Grand Canyon.. this makes me want to do it now!! thanks for sharing a great time!

We were in the backseat there and back and still enjoyed the view. The iPhone is pretty impressive honestly as long as you use the real camera. We have talked about a GoPro but decided to order a Canon Mark ii to upgrade our video, hopefully we can figure it out 😆

No fear of flying so hard for me to compare but honestly it felt 100% safe and stable the whole time. There is an inside seat if you are fearful of being by the window but if you don’t want to look out I would probably recommend driving

I would say if you want to walk at the bridge and do the Hoover Dam this will not satisfy you. it really is just a fly by of the Dam and does not go to the bridge. The bus will take longer but fill your needs better. thanks so much for watching

I’m sure you can ask - they let us rotate seats if we wanted, but we kept our original seats on purpose for ease of filming!

We did not eat before hand mostly since we got picked up so early. We did not feel sick to our stomachs at all so don’t think it’s a must but if you think you might get queasy it would be a good idea to grab a roll or something. We definitely were hungry when it was over though of course 😋

We had never been to the Grand Canyon and Josh had never been to Arizona so for me it was worth it since it checked a few items off bucket lists. Also we used $125 off coupons from MyVEGAS app to help with the cost. Oh and neither had been in a helicopter so to check off all those things it was worth it but totally understand if the price scares ya

We tipped $40 if I remember correctly. Feels appropriate since they basically act as a tour guide and pilot

Thanks for detailed video. To be very honest, the surroundings after you landed were a little underwhelming to me. Viewpoints in south rim provided more diverse scenery. I am now having second thoughts of spending $500 😅😅

It definitely is not the most perfect setting after landing but you are paying for ease and time. One thing that was great about the setting after landing was how quiet and peaceful it was. We don’t regret it at all - hope you enjoy it!

Not sure if they do that - would probably need to pay a pretty penny to just be you and your wife. They do pick you up at your hotel with a shuttle bus

The view is definitely best for the 4 up front and 2 by the windows in the back but they did rotate who sat up from on the trip there and back to try to allow for all guests to have a great view
