I'm so glad that Journey found this young man to carry on with the music. Arnel is not Steve Perry, nor should he try to be. He's an awesome talent on his own and I wish him all the very best in his career. He has a beautiful voice and deserves all the accolades that he receives.

For me, AP is not only amazing because he can sing Journey songs and almost sound like SP. It's amazing the way he handled himself with the band and facing thousands of fans. He is always grateful despite being criticized and discriminated. Because he knows, he got a rare opportunity and he doesn't want to waste it. Yeah sure there might be other people who can take on Journey but they don't they have the guts, commitment and sincerity that AP has. You know what they, it's not just the talent counts, attitude too.

I bought this album the day it came out having no clue that this was not Steve Perry....it took me looking it up on the internet to find out...At that point, after listening all the way through, I was an Arnel Pineda fan.

Fuckin amazing!!!! Was on major market radio for quite some time I would love it when I had the chance to play Journey. I would get chills. With Arnel I still do he is a beautiful tribute and though I was and still am a fan, I never heard this song and it is so well done. I'm sorry I don't know the full story of the amazing Steve Perry he will always be Journey but sometimes in life some move aside to make room for others to embellish the magic that came before and is now.

Steve who? I joke of course. In all fairness, there would be no Arnel without Steve Perry and no journey without both of them. Since imitation is the sincerest form of flattery I don't think Journey could have picked a better singer to move forward into the future with.
