Still listening to all songs of Journey / Arnel Pineda concert, today 7 /2 / 2021

As a singer myself, looking back and minding Journey's songs, Open Arms is a song that is too difficult to sing. Altho it is quite simple to listen but the variation of the notes is hard to sing if the singer isn't methodical. I never heard someone sings this pc as perfect as close of Steve Perry as Arnel. I heard his 2008 version and I had a goosebumps and even cried. Open Arms in that moment when Arnel sung it, my high school days started to get back in memory one by one. My huge respect to Arnel. He gave me back some memories of my teenage life that I cherished through the years adding that watching a drummer having a solo do amazed me. I once part of a big band and a solo drums always been the highlight of our show every night as he was blindfolded while doing his thing on the drums. W/ that everyone couldn't help but to stopped whatever they're doing and watched and this is why I stopped too from leaving this video. At his age, it's a wow!

You cannot please everybody. Arnel is 50+ yrsold batlling with asthma..its not a joke to play in a band thats famous all over the world, journey is a rock n roll hall of famer band, for me he is the best he is a filipino and im proud of it.. keep rockin idol kumpare

It’s 2022 but I’m still watching and listening all Journey songs with Arnel Pineda

It's 2021 and I'm watching it again to listen and get drown to Journey's Songs 😍

Its a testament that when Arnel joined the band in 2007, inthe same words of Neal Schon, Journey once more resurged as a World band. That says it all.

I've watch him since his debut on Journey. Excellent and versatile. He sings everything. Find his online performances. Just everything. Aerosmith, Queen, etc...

Arnel keeps Journey alive. He's a Godsend & an amazing talent. No one else could have stepped into that group or Steve's shoes as respectfully or as brilliantly as Arnel. He makes me proud.

Journey is lucky to have found him. Awesome voice!!

COVID cancelled the concert in Charlotte, NC which my wife and I were supposed to go to. I can't wait to see and hear this brother sing. Man- what a voice he has- it just gets better and better!

His voice is just stressed sometimes due to successive concerts but that doesn't mean weakness, it's normal especially for high pitched singers - mabuhay ang pinoy

I love Jonathan's piano solos where he plays snippets of melodies of their popular songs. It's like listening to a love story and I feel like I'm sailing through time of their journey all these years. Arnel sounds great even after a decade. I'm a fan forever. Can't wait to see the J boys in May!

Of course you can't pleased everybody, they have their own belief but I think if it's not the majority of the people many now love Arnel P. because he is the present lead vocalist of the band. He has a talent that can rarely hard to find that's why he is the chosen one.

While watching the couple up front I noticed a dramatic arc unfolding through out the show. During the climax of don't stop believin', she leans over to her bf/husband and says I love you and gives him a peck. Then at the end of the show, Jonathon Cain tosses a pick right in front of them and the security guy picks it up and hands it to them. Certainly, a night to remember! Journey and Arnel sound great! 2017? I saw a vid of Arnel with a not so good performance but, damn! This vid washed away all my doubts. His voice is still amaaaaazing! He sings a lot for Journey these past years, I guess the vid I watched is him being still human, he's just tired. Glad he still has the golden voice.

I was blessed to get free tickets 6th row center for one of their limited shows at the HR. Seeing them do Frontiers and Escape back to back was insane! Next to seeing them with SP Frontiers tour this was most memorable show.

He hits a few flats but his voice is still in good shape at his age now. Thing is, it's quite difficult to sing with bands around you hearing all the sneers, guitars adlibing to it's highest notes without saying it's an open air venue so to Arnel, you rock man. I knew how difficult that is.
