Yoga for Long Covid class - Joy for your Digestive System. This is a raw recording from the live Thursday open access Zoom class (details below if you are interested in attending this). You do not need any equipment for this class.
This class involves a lot of spinal twists, which are great for digestion. However, if you have any lower back issues, this Yoga for Long Covid class may feel intense for you. Please do not stretch into discomfort - listen to your body and take it slowly and gradually. Stop at the point where you feel 'the edge' of your flexibility. And for those who are hypermobile - please stay in the safe range before your edge. For bendy people, you should focus on gentle muscle strength improvement over flexibility for safety.
Please always listen to your body and only practice movement and stretching if you are able to on any particular day. Effective pacing and stabilization of symptoms are highly recommended before taking part in this class. If anything does not feel right in your body, please always stop immediately.
