New Setup for the Chevy Malibu. Shout out to JP for making a high quality amp for a good price, This amp definably puts out more power than rated. Subs are hooked down to 1 ohm load.

Im running 2evl 12’s on a purple jp23 , xs power battery , ultra cap all 1/0 wire, gonna at a second set of wires from battery and cap, 1ohm , all skar audio mids and highs and a pioneer head unit, all in a 4dr cobalt, its still a work in progress

I bought this same amp. Its strong amp . I love it. Just make sure you have strong electrical . Mine was purple with clear plexi. Perfect match. Thanks for posting . Thanks jp @ down for sound there the best in the business.

Dope bro. I got a jp23 v2 coming tomorrow for my 2 evls but I’m wiring down to .5 ohm. I made sure to get the extended warranty 😂

How's does the factory wire the 2 evl Box? How many ohms?

I have jp23 on stock electrical rn besides my big 3 4 gauge ofc wire. Volts drop to 11 so I got a 160 amp alt coming and maybe get a 6.0 lto down 4 sound to help with the dimming and voltage drops

You might want to run 1/0 ofc for this amp for less voltage drop. Maybe a higher amp alternator if your budget allows

I got a xs power 3400d 320 amp alternator big 3 upgrade 0 guage wire on jp23 and jp34 2 skar evl 12s I'm a 2007 honda civic si coupe my voltage drops sometimes to 13.8. Mostly stays at 14.7. Hope this helps

Would this work with my kicker comp 15s? Or would it be too many watts and possibly damage the subs? My amp currently burnt a fuze in it while playing it. It still works but it melted it pretty bad in the amp slot. I believe the speakers say the max peak rms or whatever is 500 a piece? So could use this amp for them to power it? Or would it possibly damage the amp or sub?

You'd have to turn the amp down to keep from overpowering your subs
