You can hook it up to the e-brake wire or you can bypass with a toggle switch or purchase a brake wire bypass

How did you get ground the parking brake?

I hooked up a toggle switch from the parking brake wire to a grounding point. I just flip the toggle switch when I'm ready to use it

Were these the TE model? I have one currently I shoehorned into a Klipsch R10b bass reflex enclosure. I'm struggling to find any kind of specs sheet info on to know the true Max peak, or (EIAJ) for how much headroom i really have without stressing the coils or weakning there impeadance. If you know any of the true specs sheet info I'd be be very appreciative Mines a "TE 8.22 with 2.5 inch dvc 2 ohm"

I have 2 of them hooked up in my corvette. I don't know the model number but they were rated at 500rms. I have them in a skar box hooked up to a hifonics brutus elite 2500 amp wired to a 2ohm load. Here is a link www.treoonline.com/

Im running 2evl 12’s on a purple jp23 , xs power battery , ultra cap all 1/0 wire, gonna at a second set of wires from battery and cap, 1ohm , all skar audio mids and highs and a pioneer head unit, all in a 4dr cobalt, its still a work in progress

Your system sounds good nice job. With that said just beware of those budget amps even from sundown. Those full bridge are the amps they said never run under 1 ohm ,an they say sometime its happens . Glad they warrantied it.

I have jp23 on stock electrical rn besides my big 3 4 gauge ofc wire. Volts drop to 11 so I got a 160 amp alt coming and maybe get a 6.0 lto down 4 sound to help with the dimming and voltage drops

You might want to run 1/0 ofc for this amp for less voltage drop. Maybe a higher amp alternator if your budget allows

I got a xs power 3400d 320 amp alternator big 3 upgrade 0 guage wire on jp23 and jp34 2 skar evl 12s I'm a 2007 honda civic si coupe my voltage drops sometimes to 13.8. Mostly stays at 14.7. Hope this helps
