Lakva Sim is one of the greatest champs. If the match in 1999 hadn't been held in Korea, he would have enjoyed much longer championship. He lost two championship matches in Korea in both split decisions.

If you really want to see Lakva in his prime, you should watch a match with Hadakeyama. He totally dominated all the rounds until he finished Hadakeyama. He spent much time in Korea when he was in prime. He was much stronger than he was in this videos when he was in his prime.

Lakva did fight well cuz Diaz is one of the world class boxer and if they fought his prime time, Lakva would win easily.

Yes, Juan Diaz was ranked in the boxing pound for pound list during his career. He was a former unified lightweight world champion and was considered one of the top fighters in the world during his prime. Lakva Sim was a fine champion too and put up a close fight. I love both these fighters styles a lot. It’s action right away I once drank mongolian vodka with him. on the ring of Korean boxing gym where he was training. If you see him in real he looks like small Tyson. Very intimidating man lol He’s Mongolian national hero. Mongolians are strong but they should cut down on that vodka they drink too much
