Now these arent the fastest accelerating tube stock but they are still fast for a tube train ,
the reduced acceleration compared to the 95 stock, is likely due to the fact that they came into service with 6 coaches. However were given an added 7th coach in 2005.
Its likely that the additional car contributed added weight and thus slows the unit down. They arent sluggish, but they arent as fast as the 1995 stock, thats for sure. 1995 stock has more motors per train set and thus, can accelerate alot better.
