Lyrics:
Hit'em boys!
Well I've said it before, and I'll say it again
You get nothing for nothing: expect it when
You're backseat driving, and your hands ain't on the wheel
It's easy to go along with the crowd,
And find later on that your say ain't allowed
Oh that's the way to find what you've been missing
So I'm heading out to the highway
I got nothing to lose at all
I'm gonna do it my way
Take a chance before I fall
A chance before I fall!
You can hang in a left or hang in a right
The choice it is yours to do as you might
The road is open wide to place your bidding
Now, wherever you turn, wherever you go
If you get it wrong, at least you can know
There's miles and miles to put it back together!
And I'm heading out to the highway
I got nothing to lose at all
I'm gonna do it my way
Take a chance before I fall
A chance before I fall!
On the highway! On the highway!
Making a curve or taking the strain
On the decline, or ut on the wain
Oh everybody breaks down sooner or later
We'll put it to rights, we'll square up and mend.
Back on your feet to take the next bend!
You weather every storm that's coming atcha!
And I'm heading out to the highway
I got nothin' to lose at all
I'm gonna do it my way
Take a chance before I fall
Yes, I'm heading out to the highway,
I got nothing to lose at all.
I got nothing to lose at all!

Always amazed at KK and Glenn playing off each other. KK unchained and almost unhinged, his edge-harmonics & sharp brown sound ringing; Glenn's precision and crunch, nailing his parts in a solid foundation until he flies into an soaring solo. The two together, absolute perfection.

Saw Priest live during this tour at Nassau Coliseum on Long Island back in 1986. They put on a great show. Turbo was an underrated album. I would argue it was one of their best. They definitely gave the fans their money’s worth when they played live. Judas Priest is one of my favorite heavy metal bands. Good songs and Halford’s voice rules.

Halford’s voice was unreal 😳. I don’t think any band at the time could follow Judas Priest. Even Bruce Dickinson mentioned “When we opened for Judas Priest, I was surprised how big they were, it was a revelation for me; watching Judas Priest was like witnessing a mechanized panzer assault, it was like a machine rolling over you”. That sums it up I guess.

On the Priest Live album from this tour you hear some synths during the harmony after the solos and it sounds f’ing rad.

Saw Priest for the Point of Entry tour and Iron Maiden was the opening act. At the time, Paul Dianno was still singing for Maiden. Still to this day, one of the top 3 shows I have seen.

@Gary McEwan , the next tour Priest did, I believe it was Screaming For Vengeance tour, Iron Maiden opened for them again and this time Bruce was singing. This was definitely a step up for both bands here in America as they were playing much larger venues. Good times to see a concert.

@Gary McEwan , thank you sir. Almost got to see Motorhead once. It was a triple bill. Motorhead, Krokus, and Fist. Unfortunately it got cancelled and I didn't hear about it. Drove all the way to the venue and I was the only fool standing there wondering what happened. Oh well, happy memories man👍

Tipton and Downing the best guitarist duo in rock/metal!!! Been blasting Priest at an "11" for 38 years and counting. I'm so grateful my older brothers of my neighbor friend introduced me to Priest and Maiden at 5 years old, I was hooked immediately. Halford's chops man!!!
