What I love about the way Kobbie plays is he almost always think of a way to bring the ball forward. It's so damn refreshing when you compare it to some other players.

And he is doing the same at Manchester United, which is way more difficult, because of the strength of the Premier League. I think England need him to start. It looked to me like the forward players were enjoying having him as he sped up the attacking plays. A few more games and players will adjust very quickly around Kobbie.

We really do have an absolute gem on our hands. The kid is still only 18 years old yet plays with such maturity & has that calmness & smoothness about him. Can you imagine if we had got Bellingham and Rice when we had interest. Our midfield would be sensational with Mainoo, people will say it would cost too much. Well 100m for Rice and 120m for Bellingham. That would be 220m and less than we have wasted on so many poor players recently. And that midfield 3 would 100% change the United narrative.

The composure, the clutch ability, the raw athleticism. The kid is stone cold under pressure. It's early in his career, but he has the same demeanor as some all-time great athletes. I think we need to stop hyping him up and putting pressure on him , He is our best midfield player but tbh an 18 year old shouldn't be United's best player . We need better midfield players next season so that he can develop further . We have seen cases of pedri and gavi who were overplayed by barca and have become injury prone now

I hope that his minutes are managed according to his age. Look at how Phil Foden was nurtured and developed under Guardiola, the best winger in the world right now while equally capable to play in the midfield, their future replacement for KDB.
