Ok but why does she care what other women wear? I have never in my life heard that shorts are considered sexually explicit clothing until now. Yeah, they are revealing and guys like to see them, but you can legally wear them in public and around kids. So... I don't see the issue with her shorts.

@@usafman8864 time and place. I doubt she would wear that to church or a formal wedding. Court has a dress code, some judges might not enforce things to that extent but the judge has every right to. Where she went wrong was by taking that picture tbh..there are signs posted everywhere in the courthouse. Had she not done that she wouldn’t have attracted the negative attention to herself. The judge probably felt like she was already letting things slide with the outfit and then she just had to take a picture 😂

@@usafman8864 Court isn't "in public". A court is a place where judicial proceedings are taking place. Everyone needs to act appropriately and dress appropriately. It's not a picnic, so no shorts or flip-flops. People's fates are being decided and the law is being upheld. Be a grown up and realize that not every venue is "the same" as every other.

They're in every courthouse and building. Try taking photos in your local courthouse and see where it gets you. That woman was taking photos of the courtroom to help her son identify any potential witnesses against him. The judge knows what time it is. That woman's clock ran out.

Deleting photos does not automatically get rid of them permanently they can be recovered from the bin or from a cloud service.

I am glad some of the judges are allowing video of their proceedings. It is obvious from these videos that many people don't know how to conduct themselves in court. Maybe these videos will educate some to conduct themselves properly and perhaps keep them out of trouble.

It amazes me that people not involved in the court system are more annoyed by the behavior than the people who work in court rooms. A ten day contempt charge only goes so far when a person is facing years. If we can conduct court with people wearing dirty jail uniforms, it amazes me that we waste time over clothing. Dockets are plenty full.

I just started watching these and I’m so astonished at what people wear to court for one of the most important days of their lives. Court used to be suit and tie professional dress ONLY. Now if you wear a clean T shirt, it’s okay.

Where the heck are you getting that? She’s teaching and enforcing pro social behavior, decorum, and rules and proper attire for court. The prisons are teaching pro social behavior now also. We get classes on pro social behavior and how to enforce it when we go to work for correction jobs. A lot of homes are not taught this and it’s being passed down generational. It has to be taught to stop the cycle. That’s how people learn what’s acceptable behavior, how to get a job, how to behave in public, what type of language to use, not to curse every other word, etc etc.

I’m so confused. There was a gun and meth in his son’s backpack? So he just grabbed it? But he didn’t take it? But he was tired so he pulled over to sleep & that’s when what? A cop pulled up? And then what? He was arrested bc he had his son’s backpack, that he grabbed but didn’t take, in the car w/him? And he’s a felon & his son’s backpack had a gun in it. So now he’s off to prison for 10 years … someone please un-confuse this for me!! 🙏🏻 😂

A couple of months ago in the state of Kentucky a prosecution went forward on a convicted felon who was caught with a firearm. The judge dismissed the case to the delight of defense counsel. The judge and the defense counsel made comment alluding that they we're looking forward to the case being appealed by the prosecution. According to the Louisville Courier-Journal the judge and defense council were giddy. Why? They want an appeal (rhe prosecutor did appeal the decision) to take this ruling all the way up to the so-called conservative majority SCOTUS (two justices corruptly seated) and begin the process of unwinding laws that prevent convicted felons from owning a firearm.

We have a city court near here with a very strict dress code posted on the door. I've seen the bailiffs turn people around in the hallway and tell them to come back when they are appropriately dressed. IF you go in there inappropriately dressed, you're going to be charged with contempt of court. If you miss your case because you couldn't get in, you're charged with failure to appear. The judge doesn't play games.

Most Courts in United States don't allow record recording devices or videos. Be careful. The Court can provide recordings of a case but it's their discretion.

If you're not sure what the rules are for court, you can always call the clerk or go online to find out. In every court I've been in were signs posted EVERYWHERE explaining the dress code & phone use, not that hard to find out!!
