Many of the corruptions are more manifest in the places where the big decisions are made, but they are revelatory of the corruptions in the body.
And when the judgment falls, it falls on the whole body.'

This was encouraging, thank you! I have been discouraged, thinking about national judgment. I wasn't sure how national judgment works. When a nation is judged, everyone suffers, whether follower of Christ or not. It's so hard to live for Christ anyway. To think of suffering the exact same thing as the godless world that spits on Him at every turn (at least, here & now) was discouraging. Not that I am perfect! Far from it. I know everything I have is from His grace anyway. But it does get discouraging when you're seeking to live for Jesus among people who loathe & mock Him everywhere you look. Thanks for reminding me that He does know His own.

A timely reminder. It is a much lighter burden to simply look to Christ than to try and preempt the world at every turn.
