The purpose of this VERY short video is simply requesting the following: If you dislike, or feel information I have said is incorrect? Please provide supporting information, or point me to where I need to be looking for it. Everything we do is anecdotal with research added, and while we can cite papers, SO much of what we do is just off specific species, often times with hobbyists having MORE information on say breeding habits than experts. I love your feedback, differing opinions, and ANY thought you have; all I want? Is some supporting evidence, or civilized debate on the "why' behind it, and ensure you continue to check the thread as I will have additional information!

Even if you’re wrong it’s up to us as viewers to do our own due diligence and research to find what is right. You’re doing your best at helping and teaching the communities! I feel like I’ve learned good information and I am entertained. Keep up the good work! I’ve noticed as I’m getting into tarantula keeping and reptile keeping, a lot of people want to be RIGHT and the only ONE right all mighty say all be all I got 1 million viewers so this how you should do it or my community will harass you type beat

I don't inherently disagree, BUT - with SEO (search engine optimization) and people who frequently add unnecessary crap in order for cross clicking and for google to put them on top, my concern is if I don't give them the best information possible, they run the risk of getting immediately conflicting info. I don't know, at least thats how I view it because multiple people can be right in a narrow area while also being wrong - I just want to prevent them from blatantly wrong information I guess? I do love your thoughts on this though!

Regardless !! There is more than one way to be successful. My way can be the same or totally different than yours. Google is so not the beginning & end for inverts. You know what I do !! I put my crickets in three’s in the freezer for 30 seconds, then I tong feed my tarantula’s. What 😳

Yeah, ultimately as long as three criteria are met, it's silly that some people take a stance. 1. Is the creature THRIVING not just surviving. 2. Is an adequate diet being given, not just fattened up which will decrease their life? 3. Are you using common sense care tips? Like, if youre feeding your tarantula jelly thats obviously stupid, but on the other side - are you making sure their food isnt just OUT of the wild? If all boxes are checked, then the how you achieve it rarely matters.

Hey, I have a question, it may sound dumb but people on FB made me feel crazy, so I'm double checking. I have some adult Phidippus audax Bryantae jumpers. One male matured out about 2 weeks ago. It's my first time trying to breed jumpers. So, I asked how their sperm webs looked, and about how long after they molt out do they make them or when are they ready to pair. People on FB tried to tell me that jumpers don't make sperm webs. I know they make them, but those people gaslit me so bad I'm doubting myself. Do they make sperm webs?

Yes, they do! And yeah people on fb are trash and Im so sorry for that, but that is the why EVERY male spider ever has engorged pedipalps and emboli is they're all just grabbing a fist of sperm and handing it off to the female. The WHY though is the question nobody EVER asks; The answer is, in theory they could do it all human style! However you may notice thatd be effing stupid because her TEETH would be right there. You're welcome. Answered two questions for one, and one you never wanted to think about. 😂

I do them the last Saturday of every month, but not all will have as much audience question time as others, it truly depends on the guest. If its just me and Hot doug, most of the time its just us
