Something I really like about this is that it subverts expectations so many times, from people not expecting back to back relevant characters being in critical conditions/dying to Yuji not getting a sudden burst of anger and powering up. It’s realistic and that makes it more entertaining in my opinion

a common misconsepction is that todo used his cheeks to escape mahito in that one scene but if you notice on the frame after he escapes mahito's blade is broken which implies that a shot was removed or just not done where he brakes the blade and claps

😅 am i the only one who doesn't hate mahito even after all this , yes he scares the hell out of me cause i never know what crazy shit his up to next but i never loathed him enough to wish for " revenge " on him , not that i don't want him dead and off my screen , i actually liked and agreed with lots of his " extremely detached from emotion " philosophies and ideas , and i don't blame him for living by them , mostly for one reason, he is NOT HUMAN , he is the physical manifestation of a curse and as long as i don't know what that is like i am gonna continue to believe him when he says he does what he does on pure instinct, seeing poeple hating his guts and wishing him the worst made me feel off , like should i feel the same about him ? , i just think of him as natural disaster, you can fear them but not really hate them 🤷‍♀️
