You should have done Falling in Reverse - The drug in me is you, first as that's the original version and you would have seen how the song had changed and how Ronnie Radke had completely changed the song but at the same time kept it the same. Compared to the original version, this is a masterpiece.

If you want to hear Ronnie's raw voice I highly recommend The Day I Left The Womb by his old band Escape the Fate. It is just acoustic guitar and voice and one of the most powerful and gut-wrenching songs he's ever written.

I wonder if Julia has found the time to peek at the original version, dive in to the backstory, gain a deeper insight into the metaphorical representation of past temptations, delusion, and insanity that is now wearing the blue dress (who fittingly goes up in flames). So powerful. I am taking my life back. You can't stop me. You can't derail me. You can't distract me. You are powerless here. You are the ashes of my past that my enlightened future can now freely evolve from. When one door closes, another opens. Though it may start as a tragic tale of hopeless desperation.. Not a sad ending at all. The way the lyrics and visuals depict that artistic juxtaposition is simply amazing. Julia picked up on the precise moment when Ronnie truly snapped and made the decision to reclaim his life from the abyss of madness. That scream of empowerment is beyond breathtaking. One of those 'resoring faith in humanity' moments. Well played. In a broader context, we all have a personal situation that we can reflect back to and appreciate the lesson learned through the passing of time. Arrrggghhhh.. What was I thinking?! Very relatable. I suspect angsty teenage Julia would have greatly enjoyed the original at the time. Modern Julia? That piano and cello is hitting a bit differently these days. In a profoundly good way.

I just like all of the elements of symbolism incorporated through this reimagination.. compared to the inspiration of the original version. The woman is a representation of temptation and addiction. She tries to coax him back.. disturbs the tranquility. He watches her burn and reclaims his future from such influences. Powerful stuff! The true irony is that, in a personal sense, regardless of the dark visualizations, this is a happy ending. He is burning the insanity from his existence and allowing for a fresh start, a rebirth. The vocal gymnastics is enhanced by contrast to the original rendition of the song. Knowing a bit of the backstory puts everything at a whole new level of appreciation. Was not a huge fan or follower of FiR as their albums were released. However, this entire 'reimagination' is endless layers of sheer brilliance.

Dude reminds me of Kilo Ren -- his body shape, his hair, his look/style, the angst… it's all there. Dude's gonna be a Sith Lord. It's his… _dessssstiny_ .

Ronnie Radke is a pure genius of our time, He's had a dark life which he puts into these incredible songs, Then if you listen to the other songs you realise how much of a musical god he is... The various singing styles and capabilities are just endless with him. All self taught, and yes... He is playing that piano (in case some didn't believe).

One of the few times that can make me tear up

What's so brilliant about this is its connection to the original song. The original is that poppy, goofy "teenage julia"-friendly kind of song but with the same lyrics. There are so many songs from that Fallout boy era that sound almost whiny when played that way. But...when he presents it this way, there is true emotion and pain behind the lyrics. It almost makes me revisit all of those poppy songs to see that there is actual emotion behind those songs which may otherwise be drowned out by the poppy-ness. I feel like I'm not making sense

listen the first time I listened to the reimagined version of this song I also laughed when Ronnie finally hits you with the scream because the whole build of the song was teasing you with it from the beginning and recognizing that we where basically at the very end of the song for that last down swing I assumed he was going to end it subdued then he swings around and clocks me over the head with the screams which was both what I should have expected(from Ronnie specifically) and not what I expected at all (from the songs structure)
