I am 71 years old and have been a music lover all my life, but at the end of this piece I heard for the first time a person make their guitar cry!

It’s been 5 years and this song still absolutely destroys me. “I wouldn’t have blamed you for leaving me there on the porch while you drink gasoline, because it’s what you needed so bad” fuck man. hurts even after the 200th time

the guitar is so understated in this song, when she adds the melody at the end it's like getting hit by a lightning bolt

that voice makes me wanna cry and laugh and fly and fall and dance at the same time .... it's great.

Her voice is the breath someone has right before they're about to say they love you.

That guitar tone.... if you get the chance to see her live, do yourself a favor. Most emotional concert i've been to.

i discovered Julien at December 2015, two months after her Sprained Ankle album released. this week the beautiful Funeral Pyre was released and my love for this girl is growing everytime i heard one of her songs. This is genius.

Been watching videos of her for five days and it still makes me cry. Good god. The energy she has is so special.

Stumbled upon Julien’s music a few years ago and became a fan instantly. After getting my heart broken I’ve come to have a much bigger appreciation for her writing and her willingness to wear her heart on her sleeve. She has a fan for life and hope to thank her for helping me.

She can play piano, she can play guitar, she sings, she makes you thrill. Wow!
