Thankyou julien for this video, it has happened to me, i think I don't hook anyone at all but I've hooked more than I realise. Now you've pointed it out it's clear to me. This issue was bugging me and making me feel bad but from now I'll not lower my motivation and keep going on and eventually I'll get better at this. Thankyou so much.♥️

Lol.. as someone that evolved naturally from the alt.seduction fourm back in the day that evolved through many different realms of self help to a place of understanding the implicit 4 sides of mind and the 16 archetypes towards self actualization and also struggled with video game addiction I feel like I would naturally jive with this guy.. I started my inner work journey when I did Ayahuascha 5 years ago and have been exploring through psychedelics and meditation since.. Seeing the Red Pill which came from the same spawning pool with suave fast seduction and the different versions of self help that came from that to this is such a breathe of fresh air.. This is so effective.. How is there not more? Inner work is next level. love the hook me exercise.. very fun. Would love to hear Julien talk about spiritual geometry and his take on DMT etc though I also understand it may be relatively off brand.. Been a dream to quit my oil and gas job and become a coach.. this is been the missing piece though.. the stuff this equates to. Very very cool. Canceling my plans - this is going to be the year of inner work.

Julien, I hear a lot about using certain topics to hook in this video, but in Pimp I remember you saying that you could just use a basic “interview questions”, but paired with the right subcommunications (commanding, challenging, and adding to the fun), you’d hook regardless of the boring content. Have you shifted away from that advice?

@@davidfosford Well the thing is, I started learning game when I was like 15. And I lived in a small town. So I never had the option to get a lot of experience cold approaching. I’ve made tremendous progress within this last year, just from getting the reference experiences I can and doing the inner work, but now that I’m at the age where I can start cold approaching, I just want a clear approach to it all.

Maybe what you're saying isn't that amazing and you need to change your approach. I find if everyone is reacting to someone negatively it's rarely everyone else and usually the individual. You can't change and improve if you won't admit there is a problem.

How I would hook someone in a conversation is I would bring up something exciting that happened on one of my hobbies that was either funny, a huge mess up or a crazy coincidence like a close call. If my two main hobbies aren't working I'd attempt a recent event I just went to like a concert or show and talking about something from that. This is why you need hobbies and to go out and experience life. My mate is boring because all he does is talk about problems from work and it repels people. He doesn't have any hobbies or fun activities to bring up in a conversation.

I love the content but lets face some facts Julian. Telling someone to change there tonality, being more expressive, saying no and whatever tipps you gave is fucking useless. Like what the fuck you mean by changing your tonality. A tonality is basically an expression of how you feel inside you cant change tonality, you change how you feel! These things are a by product of getting in touch with your authenticity, facing your demons, healing… they are good to get out of your comfort, discover yourself more. But they are not the reason why someone start likes you. If it does not feel effortless if you are trying to force it like weird PUAs = its creepy and will never gets you in touch with high value people. People who smell bullshit from miles away.
