Great review Juliet, but its a bit of a hit and miss when you consider pricing, I'd rather have the T - cross then, or and I've said this before, I'd rather have the Suzuki Vitara Turbo for not even R200 more on your installments and with the auto you will get a huge panoramic roof that opens up all the way, you get a much more powerful engine, and not to forget its much bigger than the venue, Hyundai needs to re look at pricing, especially with the launch of the new Vitara Brezza coming in cheaper than the venue and I'm sure it is a better drive

So as a finance car that you don’t intend to keep I guess it works. I have experience in the t-cross and I doubt any of these 1.0lt turbo cars have “longevity “ in their DNA. I doubt they will do well getting to 300000km and feeling as solid as say a Range Rover Evoque which you can get for about that money? I think the Ford with the 3 cylinder 1.5 NA will do better for long term ownership.

Happy Holidays Juliet! The fuel consumption of this vehicle seems a bit high, my 2.0L turbo is rated at 5.9l/100 although real world economy is around 7.9l/100. Maybe the venue is a little heavy and probably needs like a 1.5L 3 pot turbo.
