How many reps per week ? I mean if I do a total of 32 rep of split squat (2 sessions 4x4 of ~90% max rep) is it enough to gain force?

Hey Chris, I'd like to ask what you think about great jumpers who got old, and why they lost their hops. Does age mean you can't jump high anymore? Or if you keep working out, can you maintain the hops? Are you able to maintain the hops as long as you keep hitting the gym and doing your exercises?

I saw a video of Kadour Ziani and he can barely touch the rim now. He's like 50 years old, though. I'm not sure he kept up with his fitness. Just trying to see how it all may work!

As you age: Metabolism slows down - you gain weight Natural testosterone levels decrease - you become less powerful Responsibilities increase - you have less focus More reps of faulty movement patterns - you get injured TDLR: As you age, everything is going against you. With that being said, yes you can still maintain your hops for a while, but not for long without a decent amount of money and sacrifice to counter all of the negative effects that comes with aging.
