@@JumpermanTech hey. Looks great. Have a question, I have a leather upholstered bed frame. Am concerned about how long the adhesive would stay put ? After all it is effort to install them. Have your's still stayed stuck in place. What about fire risk?

@@allboutthemojo Hey, thank you! The lights I mounted are still in place and still working great :) I don't see any fire risk at all. These lights used in the video are great because they have a clear waterproofing material on top of the lights that actually act as an insulator so its not conductive. They also have these clear mounting brackets you can use that will surely hold the lights up basically forever. Ill leave you a link, check it out! You can buy an extension with a wire and skip a part of the bed this way you can go around the frame

Its a good idea to do a layout first using tape to see if you would have enough lights and how you want to run them.

My head board is wrapped in a soft fabric unlike your wood frame. Do you have any tips for this? I can wrap the lights under the bed which is wood but I have a ton of extra left over near the head of the bed

I agree! 20x easier and faster than soldering but I must say, soldering is longer lasting than these connectors. Overtime you might need to crimp down on the terminals again for the connectors because they've gotten loose on me after 8 months. This is an amazing tutorial and I had no idea they made 90° connectors for led strips! I will definitely be picking some up so I can do this to my bed frame. Are there any recommendations for any extra kind of adhesive I csn use to make sure they stay stuck to the bed. Ive always had trouble keeping it stuck! ☹️

Sick setup! I got the same bed and I'm gonna do almost the same thing. I was wondering if it's sometimes too bright for you, when the rest is all blacked out and if you think it would be wise to not go over to the other side via the end of the bed (since you can't see it there anyway), but instead go back with the strip on the upper ledge underneath the bed. Anyway it looks really good and I'm looking forward to my version of it :)

Just so everybody knows you don't have to purchase the packages of the connectors individually anymore they sell a full kit that includes the wall mounting clips the l clips the straight clips and also extension wires

tip for drilling a cleaner hole. drill from one side until the tip of your bit pokes thru the back side, then drill from the other side, using the small hole as a guide. question for you, why the gloves? is it not ok to handle the LED strips?
