Louis brings a live fish around 17.40 this afternoon, and Rannoch arrives shortly afterwards still clutching the previous, larger fish. Louis departs and Rannoch is left with the two fish. Comically, the new fish suddenly flaps and moves abruptly (3:40) and Rannoch startles like the mother panda when her baby sneezes, and ends up on the edge of the nest, eyeing the flapping fish suspiciously. Taken from the ©Woodland Trust osprey nest cam, funded by the People's Postcode Lottery, wifi provided by Locheilnet.
PS It's a bit long but I decided against lopping off the end four minutes or so as these are the last days with Rannoch before she sets off on her long migration and it's lovely to see her. Females tend not to return to their local area (avoids inbreeding / competition with their parents who'll be raising their next brood) so we might not see her again.
