For the June Quilt Block Journal Challenge, I show you how to do a raw edge appliqué of a vintage camper, complete with bunting. I have provided you with a free pdf pattern of the camper, which is available on my website (link is below). How you finish your appliqué is entirely your preference. You can use sketchy line work like I’ve done or you can use a zig zag edge, satin stitch, blanket stitch, or even a decorative stitch that you have on your sewing machine. This is also an excellent opportunity to practice your free motion quilting. Be sure to # the image of your block with #HeidiCreates when posting on Instagram so that we can see your beautiful work.
