This video shows you how to do a satin, zig zag, blanket or other decorative stitch around your raw edge appliqué. If you follow these guidelines you will have neat stitches around your appliqué edges that will only enhance the overall look of your raw edge appliqué quilt projects. The key is knowing where to drop your needle when you pivot your work so that your stitches don’t have gaps or crooked lines.
