I decided to stop at inking and stamping but you could use all sorts of other bits and bobs to embellish these further.
These little embellishments can add some fun and personality to your journal pages and covers and they're a great way to use up scraps from your projects and use those stamps you have hanging around in your stash.
These are perfect for decorating any junk journal, planner, diary or notebook.

Thank you Julie! Glad to see the distress oxide sprays because once when I went bonkers ( more than usual!) I bought a gift for myself of a whole bunch of those and nobody seems to have videos on how to use them!! If you want to make a video about that, it would probably be a great hit because there must be tons of other people who have done the same thing! We might as well just put them in a frame and gaze at them!!🙃🙃🙃💕

Im still here Gloria😁 just haven't been very organised or motivated the last couple of months and the teenagers have been on school holiday for 7 weeks. Husband and son are watching Premier League Review, I’m watching you , I think I got the better option. Tested positive for Covid which pissed me off as I’ve avoided it since the beginning, luckily I’m fully vaccinated and boostered so isn’t too bad, was more scared when the positive test came in than I was when I was diagnosed with breast cancer! Will definitely try this thanks and take care.

Those turned out really nice, despite me not being sure, lol. I have to say, I just love the fact that you said, you don't buy anything unless it's on sale, I'm the same, lol. My favorite story to tell is when my son, about 7 at the time, asked if we have a coupon for "DunkAroos" while grocery shopping, if you don't have those, it's a packet with mini cookies on one side and icing to dip them in on the other side. He knew we didn't have the money to just buy things, and I always used discount coupons from the newspaper for groceries. I told him no coupons, but we were in luck, because they were on sale, so pick out which one you want, mhm, just makes me smile and cry at the same time, yep, a good memory.

Love your frame charms! Glad I'm not the only one thinking that about Tim's new pencils! 🙄🤯 He wants them "to do well and sell" so he can release more colors,,,well don't charge so much so more people can afford to buy a consumable product, buy all the colors, and replace them over and over. Those Arteza watercolors look amazing. If I didn't just get a palette from Amazon this summer, I'd buy those. That ink blender kit is Awesome, and already sold out! 🤣🤣 great deal! However, on the US site it's $35! 😱🤯

I like, so good to see you're on! I ordered those watercolors and stamp set he used to demo them. I love most of the Halloween stuff that he put out. I can't watch that guy without coveting all the stuff. I would love to visit his workshop and play for the day. I would love to come visit you to, or you could come visit me. Like I said, there should be a retreat for us to go to. I want to reach through the TV to sop up that paint water with scrap paper to use in a journal. LOL Journal addiction! I stocked up on art glitter glue and other stuff before prices climb or there are no delivery services. 🤥

You crack me up 🤣I do not like to get my fingers messy either, try one of those round face cleaning pads made of cotton. I try to use them whenever I can and they are great to smudge your messy items around on your paper. Great video and this looks like a fun, relaxing project 💜💙💜💙

What a fun video Julie! I think your idea of dangles looks great too! I’ve been watching a couple of new to me crafters that you might like. One is Donna at Twisted paper studio and the other is Leslie at 507 Willow House journals. Donna created what she calls twisted tangles and Leslie has done her version of them. I think your labels would work in a version of the twisted tangles. Happy crafting! 😍❤️

Just free thinking but there are velcro circles and you could use the finer meshed cooker vent sheets to make your own cheap spunges. I am certainly going to give that a try.

i love these Julie - i don't have any label stamps so i was very happy to see how you made one without using a stamp - and i loooove that case lol - thank you for letting us know about it - i keep mine in a sandwich baggie - this is much nicer - be well and hope the kids had a good first day back to school 🤗🤗

Hi Janet, so glad you enjoyed it love ☺️ Yes that case was worth the cost alone. The girls had a good first day thanks love. Rest of the week was a bit stressful for Rachel. She doesn't deal well with change and things that are unplanned. School sprang a vaccination and school photos on them without informing us first😐 Roll on next week 😘🤗💜

Love your ideas and often find motivation in your videos. Thanks for that. When you mentioned that you don't use printables for decoupage, it made me wonder. I hear multiple crafters say that they tea-dye the paper and print it afterwards, because they have an ink printer. I print my paper on an inkjet and dye it afterwards and have no issues. Makes even the print look old, and it doesn't smudge. However, when I started, I dyed it first. And even though I ironed the paper I ended up ruining the printer. 🤔

Thank you so much love🤗 Oooo that's very interesting about the ink and the tea dying. My last printer was a canon with ink cartridges and my ink definitely ran, I even bought a small black and white laser printer for my postage labels because of it. I replaced my canon about a year ago with an Epson eco tank one and I honestly haven't tried tea dying any I've printed with that. Ill be giving it a whirl now. Thank you do much for that☺️🤗💜

Thanks love 😊 Well, on and off camera is a different story. I did try to do what i usually do in a few videos but it was very hard while waffling and i got in a few sticky situations😅 Off camera i glue on every other page so that i'm left with 2 pages stuck together for making ephemera. On camera i use a page and then it goes in the recycling🤗💜

@@CameliaCraftsDesigns Yes definitely a U.K. Brand. I did see two products from them on Amazon, Dies. So who knows maybe they’ll expand. I just luv your Nala stories, I’m a cat 🐱 lover too. So much more fun than dogs. No offense to dog lovers it’s just that cats are furry snuggly balls of love, (with an attitude of course. 😝) As Nala gets older I’m sure she will become more lovey Dovey🥰

I am exactly the same Julie! I don't buy anything unless it's on sale or only if when I buy it I get some form of "rewards". Like if I have a company club card and buying something specific will add "points" to my card for future uses. This was a year ago and prices are STILL rising. It's insane.
