That is so funny about the chant! I had to make one for my son when he was younger. If he put his hand on the doorknob, or was getting ready to leave the house, we would say “funky wallet.” It stood for phone, keys, wallet. 🤣 He still uses it to this day!

My pupils used to make those with blank paper and make revision notes/annotated diagrams for their exams. I used to teach Biology to 13-18 year olds. I’d forgotten about them. They’re fun thank you.

I love making these and they are just super cute when you put pockets and all those wonderful flippy flaps and bands and such like a grown up book. They ARE really cute to ad to big journals cuz it's always nice to have a little take away you can put in your purse, pocket, or just to jot down notes ( passwords maybe cuz whe can remember those things ) . There are directions for a even smaller one that is folded a bit more before making the opening, not hard, just a little more fiddly. Anywho, love what you did there. The Lovebirds sound happy and peachy faced.😁 ...maybe? Yes? No? Hahaha Hope y'all have a bright and sunny day.💟😁

This was a great tutorial. I have seen these types of books before but the great thing about your instruction is, it can be done with any size rectangle of paper. One thing I changed, to make the cut I opened the sheet up and used a craft knife and ruler so that the pages stayed the same size.I have really been enjoying this series on using up book pages and your sense of humour makes it really fun.

These little notebooks are so cute! I sometimes use my stick glue to make ruffles or ripples with strips of fabric or ribbon. I just put a lot of glue down and then sort of slide two fingers together and pinch. They hold very well. I use the Amazon Basics stick glue.It works on fabric as well. tfs!

Lovely - great idea. The mice are Hunker and Munker from Beatrix Potters "The Tale of Two Bad Mice" - I recognised the picture as soon as youshowed it. I haven't seen that book for over 6o years! They are vandalising a dolls house they find, and smashing up the food etc :)

Oh Pam I told you you are clever. Every time id fold paper in 4 id open it back up & try cut on the fold & fail miserably & end with woncky edges. You just fold & cut the folds.. Now thats clever. You end up with neat, all the same size pieces of paper. Simply Clever

I’ve decided to make two (at minimum) of each of your cuties! Then I have one for my personal journal and one for the book I’m working on for family memories! Or maybe 3 or 4 at a time...😂
