Junk Journaling Tutorial: Making Paper Ruffles

This video shares my methods for creating one-of-a-kind paper ruffles. These add beautiful details to your page and can be great for using up left over supplies.

I have showed a variety of textiles to top my ruffles. The bling is from Sheila Gingerich. She makes wonderful textile and bling packages and hand dyed velvet and trim bundles. Now that I have watched the video...... I feel so enthused to try it out. I certainly don't have a shortage of papers to try ... both scrapbooking and digital!!! And as you said....it stabilises the edge of the page and it gives a great look to otherwise bland pages!!!! Thank you for the inspiration. I am off to help hubby out in the paddock (we have acreage) .... and there is always things to do!!! So my treat for helping him will be to try out this wonderful idea this arvo!!! And I will be able to say goodbye to some more paper scraps. Yaaaaayyyyyy!!!! hehehe

This is a great video explaining how to make these! Love the idea of using glue to stabilize it.....goodness knows my fumble fingers don't need to manage too much at once under a swift moving needle! LOLOL!!!!
