Жыл бұрын

Alex and I take a mini road trip up to Idaho to visit a #junkyard with hundreds of #musclecars #classiccars vintage trucks tractors and more with our friend Brandon from the area. The video highlights our favorite cars and trucks we saw walking around from the perspective of a mid 60s muscle car fan. There are plenty of cars and trucks I walked past that I’m sure many of you will love as well. We were looking to make a deal on some awesome cars that need a second life on the road, see what happened!!

Yeah that 1960 Dart Pioneer wagon was awesome that's too bad he did not want to sell the cars. Some folks would let them rot then sell it to someone that would do something with it I had a guy with a 1977 Dodge Warlock that was that way I bugged him for years and years to sell it and he would not sell it and the truck went from a nice truck that needed work to a total rust bucket that was good for parts but that's how some are.

Sorry about the luck 😞 I blame the video craze and the crushing of the stock. People are wanting gold prices for junk. Days of the proper price or deal is gone. Too many videos and the word rear on everything drove the car prices 200-1000% of what they should be.

True man thanks, the market is pretty high compared to what it was 5-10 years ago, but like all things it’s relative. I may buy a 2k car for 5k but conversely I can restore and sell that same car for 70k when it used to only sell for 55k. In this case it just didn’t work for us.

@@FanelliRestorations I tell the story about a place some distance from here. The last 35 some years I have been offering some old nasty grouchy drunk cash 4 the pair old history but he eventually went to jail and died there denying my sane cash offers on a 57 Apache truck and 55 Nomad. 35 some years ago when they had windows and tarps on em they were worth what I was offering but the owner is dead now his neighbor is offering me to just come get em>>>> With broken windows and all vandalized they ended up like predicted. Pretty much totally worthless. The few parts that remain R not worth man power & time. At one point the seats were pristine and so were both em worth restoration. Now they are worth nothing. I am retired now but in my day I was one of the best body paint and framemen around. I simply do not understand the patina look that everybody likes. If you're going to condemn it to a patina car.Just leave it there and let somebody who will restore it properly take the car. I'm not the only one who feels like this. Unless it is an original paint and 95 or more percent of the paint is there. Restore it properly. The old cars deserve that much. I am also looking for a 67 charger to restore. If anyone knows where one is that is restorable please let me know. I have a 72 Chevy pick up C10 that I am restoring. If anybody knows where good original parts are I would appreciate if you let me know. Thank you.
