Junna not only mouths the lyrics to the song, but she mouths the guitar solos as well. Just an incredible talent all the way round, and a pure joy to watch. Plus she does it while wearing "Hello Kitty" socks. That takes confidence.

When not drumming, she is quiet and unassuming, but put her behind a kit and she goes into beast mode. She has definitely become one of my favorite drummers.

She's 26 now ( 24 in this video ) . She looks very young but she isn't , she s born in 26 sept 1995 and start playing drumms in 2010 with 15 years old and was the former drummer of kakumei ( now trident) in 2013 with 18 , she left kakumei in 2020 and now she is a freelancer drummer , so she is 26 right now . sometimes people confuse her age with the other junna (the singer) who is 21 or 22, greetings from Portugal 🤘🤘

Man she's 26! Lol... Yes she started to play drums with 15 and now she's 26. She played with Girls Rock Band Kukumei, now Trident but she left few years ago.. And yes, she's nuclear powered lil Japanese girl. 😁 Junna ❤️

She is a full on pro, under contract endorsement with Pearl drums(HQ in Japan), Sabian(cymbals) and Remo(drum heads) and possibly others. She has been in a band, but now is freelance, playing shows in Tokyo and a couple other places over the last couple years. She basically owns and dominates the stage making it pretty difficult to be in a band. She is probably too alpha and too dominating for almost any band I can think of.

SHe's fitting in pretty well with the (sadly rare) full band appearances of Mada Mitakoto No Nai Sekai (ex-Bridear shredder Mitsuru's project). Lots of alphas in that project (Junna and Mitsurun, plus Wakazaemon on bass!). Absolutely warpspeed stuff...it fits her style.

Junna's videos and the reactions to them just never get boring. :) I also watched your video for 'Ashes of the Dawn' earlier, which is no less impressive in my opinion, but unfortunately and unjustly suffers from the popularity of this song... This young lady is without a doubt very special and has a presence like hardly any other drummer I know. Generally speaking, the talent Japan has to offer behind the drums is second to none. She must really intimadate guys who have been playing for decades. People in bands are arrogant and don't take to kindly when they get shown how to play from a young person. Add to that, she is a girl, and it has to be humbling to hear her. Especially when they think THEY are the best player in the world! Seriously I can't stop listening to her play. Not even my type of music, and I have been converted after hearing her. Crazy talent and 100% natural ability. I read she could play that hard after her first 12 months of playing.

I always call JUNNA the MOST ENTERTAINING drummer in the world. I'm sure you won't disagree! LOL Another one you don't want to miss is Akane Hirose's drum solo in "Freedom". My absolute favorite drum solo in the world. All the band members are awesome in the song, but the drum solo is my favorite in this one. @@ReactionsbyD See D, here's the thing. Yoyoka and Junna don't vibe off the same music. Junna is primarily a metal drummer, that's her thing. That's her passion place on a kit. Yoyoka isn't really into metal. She really, really "likes" rock and some proto-metal, but she really, really LOVES alternative, dance, pop, soul, funk, gospel, fusion, punk, r&b and love jams. Oh, you didn't know that did you? She says it whenever someone bothers to ask in an interview. She's been to the U.S. 5 times in the last 4 years. Did she ask her parents to take her to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? Nope, she asked to go to Paisley Park to see where Prince lived and worked. When she was in Vegas, she sought out Anderson Paak and Chris Coleman. Don't get me wrong, she has a BLAST playing Deep Purple, Zeppelin and Rainbow covers. Collabing with Ian Paice and getting praise from Robert Plant was awesome and good for her career. That music is fun for her, but that isn't what she listens to in her headphones. Try watching her covers of the music that SHE actually loves, not the ones her lop-sided, geriatric, fan-base keep demanding. They'll show up to any quinquagenerian rock offering she posts, from KISS, to Queen to Grand Funk Railroad and give her hundreds of thousands of views, sometimes millions. But when it's something SHE really vibes on herself, she's lucky to breach 50 or 60 thousand views if that. So here are the covers you WANT TO SEE of Yoyoka truly loving what she's doing. If you were going to write an anime story where the heroine was a superhero with superpowers, but drummed with a metal/rock band to earn a living, it would be Junna. Someone described her as a real life "Powerpuff Girl". For me it is the fact that she is killing this drum cover while wearing "Hello Kitty" socks. That takes confidence to a whole new level.
