Very good points. I am a Scorpio Ascendant and I am observing this transit very closely because during the first phase of the transit I will be going through Sun MD-Jupiter AD-Venus PD and I have natal venus alone in my 7th house so Jupiter will be transiting over it. That’s very interesting with the previous transits when Jupiter was in Taurus. During that period I was actually going through my Venus MD-Jupiter AD. It was a good time for me because my physical appearance changed a lot in a very positive way and I was getting a lot of attention, I also was enjoying luxurious clothes. I wanted a romantic relationship but it never happened even though I had suitors because I was not interested in the options but looking back I understand it probably had to do with the malefic influence of Ketu transiting the 7th house as well and since I was desiring a partner and attaching Ketu did not allow it. With Ketu transiting in my 11th house I do feel the detachment with my desires especially when it comes to material things like wealth and possessions. I am just learning to be simple and consuming less. Trying not to spend money on clothes and just use what I already have.

@@Turboss_38 started when I was 21- just about finished college and was socialising heaps for a few years and networking and travelling. When rahu antardasha started I quit my job and had to figure out what I was gonna do, so I started studying astrology for a career change but by jupiter antardasha I was studying trading. Trading (Forex, futures) is hardest thing I ever have done but it's accelerated personal growth and development in ways I could never imagine and it has developed my intellect for sure (it's a very technical subject) --made me uncover a lot of layers and patterns which I have been letting go of. I would say it has been a positive antardasha but with a LOT of twists, turns and starting over a few times but each time, starting over doesn't feel so scary and I lean on the experiences of before where everything works out in the end and for me, this life lesson is worth it's weight in gold. Overall, very happy with it! 🤗

Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom with us 🌞🌟👍🍀👏 Please could you share your insight on something that's been bugging me : I am in Ketu dasa Mercury AD, Cancer Moon, Leo lagna. My natal Ketu is in 8h currently Saturn is sitting on it. Mercury is in Pushya with natal Jupiter in 12 h. So this is the only link Mercury has to Jupiter in natal. Do you think Jupiter can help alleviate the agony even in Ketu dasa ?

Thank you. Could you throw some light on Jupiter return in Taurus? I'm midway through Venus-Jupiter dasha and my natal Jupiter in 4th house taurus is in parivartan with exalted venus in the 2nd house. This antardasha has not been easy so far.

Ven-Jup parivartan is like they have exchanged their roles. So Venus is like Jupiter in this case and Jupiter is like Venus. You can expect things to get better end of May onwards as transit Jupiter was 12th from itself all the while.

Before looking at the ashtakvarga score in a specific chart, there are other important factors such as natal placement, counting on the houses from there and the connections Jup is making in transit with other natal grahas. Ashtakvarga is never a straightforward prediction method.

What’s the difference between Vedic and western astrology? Is the concept still the same?

It is Jyotish vedanga or the ancient vedic system where all astrology has been originated from, whether western, vedic or modern vedic. The difference between the two systems we see today is only on the basis of calculation. Western system relies on tropical calculation while vedic has sidereal calculation or as a simple explanation, it looks at the position of the planets as is in the sky, hence the level of accuracy is higher. Western system gives more importance to the sun sign but, Vedic system to the Moon sign since Moon’s transit is the fastest, having more significant impact on the native form a sign perspective. Also, based on Western Sun will enter Taurus mid April but, in Vedic it will enter Aries and that marks the Vedic new year. Even Vedic system has varied calculations so, I have respect for both systems and what works best for the native. There is enough to learn from both. Hope it helps.

Primarily lagna or the ascendant. From the Moon only at a mental level. Jupiter square from the natal Moon or aspecting the natal Moon in transit is good to gain mental strength.
